"I used to think that if you hadn't met Raymond first that you and I...."  Zariah hears Horatio tell Yelina softly as she stands behind him chatting with a waiter trying her darndest to get away from her "date" that she KNEW was a date but was also for business purposes so she TRIED to stick with that but the guy that brought her to the restaurant she now stands in was being overly persistent "then Raymond died"  Yelina replies softly "right and everything changed and it is easy to get used to those boundaries"  Horatio says not realizing that Zariah is standing right behind him "right"  Yelina says also not seeing the woman she has a feeling Horatio is in love with standing so close to them there was a small pause then Yelina says "I'm still your brothers wife hmm?"  there's another pause then Yelina says "it's not your fault Raymond got killed nor mine if anything you tried harder than anyone to get Raymond to be more careful"  Horatio replies "maybe I didn't try hard enough"  Yelina says "oh that is not true I don't believe that"  there's a pause then Yelina says "but maybe you do"  another pause then Yelina says "okay"  she pauses then says "I suppose I.... am going to have to except things for now"  Horatio nods with a smile Yelina sighs then says "so.... tell me about that woman.... the one with the dog that helped us with Emma's case!"  and Horatio becomes truly flustered "so that's who you've been going on about!?"  she asks a hint of a blush flows across Horatio's cheeks "she's a lucky woman!"  Yelina says then they hear Zariah whisper from behind them "oh shit! I knew I should have brought Caine!"  they turn around then hear a boisterous voice boom out "there you are!! I've been looking all over for you!"  and they see a man who was handsome in his own right and yet still ugly storm towards her with overeager steps Horatio sees Zariah's nervously annoyed posture tense up at the sound of the mans voice as she tries very hard not to flinch "thank you"  she says to the waiter who nods then walks away she plasters a fake charming smile and says "Mr. Uptared I apologize I got lost this place is rather big and far too white!"  Horatio hides a chuckle though his eyes show how worried he is about the way she presented herself when she first saw the man "I told you call me Eugene please!" the man coos "whatever you may think this is Mr. Uptared I am here by my bosses orders not for your genuine pleasure and I will call you whatever the hell I please!"  Zariah replies "feisty I love it!"  the man exclaims Zariah raises her eyebrow at him and says "I see! so THAT'S where you think this is going!!.... I'm sorry SIR I just realized how late it is I have to get home my husband hates sleeping without me next to him!"  she raises her hand and shows him the ring on her finger that she knew he either didn't see or ignored and continues "so I shall bid you adieu and hope that I never see you again! and I will be informing not only him but my boss of you conduct! which I must say leaves far too much to be desired! now as I've said I must get home and burn my outfit then take the hottest shower my body can handle just so I can get the disgustingly rotten stench of your being off me so good night MR. UPTARED!!"  then she turns around and walks out the door the man shrinks when he realizes that he has now become the center of everyone's attention he clears his throat and mutters his apologizes for Zariah's behavior then heads back to his table "I am not going out with Stetler.... he leers"  Yelina says to Horatio once the show was over "I did notice that by the way he's doing it again right now"  Horatio replies Yelina rolls her eyes then says "go catch up with her!"  Horatio smiles then says "I'll talk to you later"  and he walks out of the restaurant hoping to catch the woman he was surprised to see leaning up against his vehicle "you heard all that huh!?!"  he asks "it's nice to know the truth about.... everything!"  she replies as she pushes herself off his vehicle "besides my "show" was a bit more entertaining!"  she says he chuckles with a corner smirk and replies "that's true!"  he pauses then says softly "I'm sorry!"  she replies "I've spent my whole life in the darkest parts of the world never trusting anyone or believing there was any true good within it and when I find it he happens to be in love with another woman who he surprisingly tries to stay away from!.... are you going to do that to me too!?!"  he takes a step towards her and says softly "no!.... I hated every second you stayed away I could never do that to you.... never!"  he slides his hand up her cheek after a small pause he asks with a smile "so.... do you need help with that!?!"  she looks at him confused then laughs and replies "only if you wish to though I think I may have had it mixed up"  he looks at her confused "I'M the one who can't sleep without YOU at my side!"  she says he smiles then places his forehead on hers and says softly "I think it goes both ways!"  she smiles then looks up at him and his lips meet hers "I knew how the meeting would end up I just didn't think it would be as bad as it was.... he was overly persistent and I tried my hardest to keep it as professional as possible.... I guess there are people in the world who never pay attention to a finger unless they're being flipped off!"  she says he chuckles then says with a smile as he takes her hand in his "let's go home"  she smiles then replies "we're already at the car so why did you take my hand!?!"  he says "because I wanted too"  she blushes which makes him smile then he lets go of her hand and kisses her lips then opens her door for her, waits till she's safely inside and shuts the door then walks around to the drivers side opens his own door, climbs in, shuts his door and looks over at her and says "you look nice by the way"  she replies looking into his eye "really!?! this is the worst suit that I own!.... it used to be the mothers the only part I like about it is the color and the lace.... which even though it isn't see through probably helped him and his overactively disturbing imagination but....!"  seeing him clench his jaw she stops then after a short pause she says "you can burn the suit!"  he laughs then turns the key which is now in the ignition then drives home.... when they got home they made love to one another in the shower with the water as hot as they BOTH could handle until it became cold then they wrapped themselves in their bathrobes and watched the suit burn in the fireplace his standing behind her with his hands on her hip and her back pressed up against his chest they stare into the fire for awhile then his lips start to trace her neck and she smiles at the feeling of their soft caress as his hands start to travel up her body over her breasts she leans even further back into him as his hands massage her areola and nipples and moans softly at the sensation making him smile along her neck "don't you....!?!"  she whispers "don't.... ruin the moment!"  he replies she turns to face him with a smile and says as she slides her fingers up his chest "that woman needs you to be her hero Horatio! you and your team are the only voice she has left and I hope you scream for her just as loudly as I scream for you!"  he smiles just then he gets a call from Calleigh letting him know that she along with Eric and Tim picked up Clavo Cruz for a DWI he hangs up sighs then says "I have to go"  she says "you might want to get dressed first!"  he chuckles then kisses her lips and walks away to go do just that.... a few minutes later Horatio returns to their living room in "the same suit!?!"  she asks with a slightly amused tone and a raised eyebrow "they don't need to know what we've done!"  he replies with a smirk she shakes her head with a smile and he walks over and kisses her lips then says "I'll see you later"  she nods then whispers "I love you husband"  his body quivers slightly and his heartbeat flutters then he replies "I love you.... wife"  the way he said that word made it sound like he was testing it out and liked how it sounded ESPECIALLY when it came to her he smiles at the thought then walks out the door to his vehicle and heads to the Crime Lab....
