He's Her Hero Without Ever Truly Saving Her🦸‍♂️

"You can't be in here!"  Megan Donner says to a unfamiliar looking woman who stands on the "wrong" side of the yellow tape with a Dark/Red Golden Retriever at her side as she walks under the tape over to her "I said you....!"  Megan starts then she see the shine of a badge flash at the woman's hip and starts to believe that she may be wrong what surprised Megan the most was that the woman seemed to ignore her and had a worried expression on her face what shocked her even more was that Calleigh, Eric and Tim seemed to know the woman and the dog for she heard Calleigh ask with a smile in her tone as soon as those three entered the area "what are you doing here!?!"  the woman turns to face Calleigh and replies with a smile as Calleigh pets the dog on the head "we WERE walking but this one saw the familiar yellow of the tape and the blue of his human counterparts shirt and decided he'd rather be here!.... luckily half of the people here already know us!"  Calleigh chuckles with a smile "it hit him pretty hard.... emotionally not.... he's physically fine but his emotional state is in tatters!"  the woman whispers to Calleigh with a sad expression on her face Calleigh's smile drops as she nods then pats the woman on the arm "we'll stay here I don't want any evidence sticking to his fur and or cutting up his paws!"  the woman tells her Calleigh nods then walks towards the house Eric and Tim softly say their hellos to the woman cupping her arm and petting the dog on the head as they follow their blonde friend/co-worker.... a few minutes before Megan showed up to the Crime Scene Zariah ended up chasing after Horatio once again this time to the front steps of the house that Horatio Caine had walked towards and into as the Fire Department starts to wander out of the house "Horatio no!"  she calls out as she jogs over then watches as the pup sniffs the firemen's ankles "sorry, he just wants to help"  she tells them they nod knowing full well who she is and just how well she trained the pup and they continue on their way out allowing the pup to softly sniff them Horatio lets out a small woof and Zariah asks "may I see the bottom of your boot Matthew?!"  the fireman looks at her oddly then nods and lifts his foot then watches as she looks at the bottom of his foot, takes a pen out of her pocket and flicks something off the bottom of the boot he lifted "thank you"  she says he nods again then walks away still curious as to why she made such a odd request "we'll give it to him later"  Zariah says to Horatio as she takes a clean handkerchief out of her pocket and picks up the small silver circle she had removed from the fireman's boot then she and the pup head back to their original spot and stare at the house worried about their new friend.... once Zariah sees Horatio Caine walk out of the house with Calleigh and Tim at his side she and Horatio jog over to them.... "hey Shades!" Horatio Caine hears Zariah say just as Tim opens his mouth to speak a small smile graces his (Horatio Caine) handsome face when he sees her jog over to him "you're special you know!?! not everyone gets two nicknames for the price of one!"  Zariah teases once she stands in front of the redheaded man who smiles at her "is that so!?!"  Horatio asks she smiles then says as she reaches into her pants pocket and pulls a small white handkerchief out of it "oh and H found you a present!"  he looks at her oddly but carefully takes the handkerchief from her for he could tell that she had placed something within it just by the way she folded it "he found it on the bottom of one of the fireman's boots"  she tells him as he carefully opens the handkerchief and he smiles when he sees a small sliver circle lay within the middle of it "it may have some blue ink on it.... I don't carry tweezers with me everywhere I go and only had a pen on me to dig it out with"  she tells him he chuckles then says with a smile "thank you"  she replies with a smile "and now you owe him dinner!"  he chuckles then watches as her and Horatio walk away....
