Horatio and Zariah were driving back home after going out to lunch when he hears a call over his police radio about a woman getting shot in her own home he looks at his wife who nods and he drives to the scene Caine hops out of the vehicle and follows Horatio to the house where they wait for a young girl who was being escorted out of her home and over to them Zariah smiles from her spot in front of the Hummer as she watches a young lady take her husbands hand and pet Caine's head then walk towards her "go ahead, we'll watch over her!"  Zariah says to her husband softly he smiles at her then nods and walks away and back to the Crime Scene Zariah learns the girls name is Daria and it almost makes her chuckle for it was pretty close to her own name she and Caine play with her until her father comes and Horatio kept sneaking peeks at them from the front yard with a smile on his face before heading back to the Crime Lab Horatio takes his wife back home to be with their children setting Paula and Ray Jr free from their babysitting duties.... a few hours later Horatio gets a call from his wife that he answers right away "Ratio!.... I.... can't.... breathe!!"  she says with a tone that sounds like she's chocking on air "where are you!?!"  he asks "your office.... I.... forgot....!"  she replies he hears a thud and a crash and as Frank was arresting his victims killer Horatio runs out of the Dade University Auditorium and to his Hummer dropping the paper that read "THEY ALL FALL DOWN" as he ran.... a few minutes later he rushes into the Miami Dade Police Department towards the elevator and up to the Crime Lab and finds everyone unconscious except for Eric who was having trouble breathing and he shoots one of the windows allowing the fresh air from outside to flow in he checks on Calleigh who was hard to wake up then walks towards his office which of course was the only fully closed in room since the door was actually shut he shoots his office window bringing more air inside then kneels down by his wife praying she will wake up it takes her a few seconds but she finally does and the first thing she does is reach for him and grip his knee "you know I think I forgot what I came for!"  he hears her say with a strained voice he chuckles then hears Natalia shout for help "go!.... I'll be ok"  she tells him he stands up and rushes out of his office and Zariah finds what she was looking for Timothy's favorite sippy cup "what a silly thing to come in for but he won't go to school without it!"  she whispers to herself with a slight chuckle in her tone then she walks out of the room just in time to watch the paramedics take Jesse's dead body to the Morgue.... Zariah and her children watch Horatio and Eric interrogate one of the two people who were responsible for killing Daria's mother, Jesse and almost Zariah herself Horatio was surprised to see them when he walks out of the Interrogation Room "I know I know I should have gone then stayed at home but we....!"  Zariah says softly she stops when she feels Horatio's lips caress her forehead "you handled that well!"  she teases as she watches him kiss their children's forehead and pet Caine who stood at her side head he chuckles and smiles at her "go finish what you started!"  she tells him he nods then walks away.... a few hours later Zariah, Horatio, their children and pup drive to the beach where Walter was playing basketball by himself on a court on the beach the thing was they weren't alone Eric, Calleigh, Natalia and Ryan were also with them they just drove in their own cars Zariah bounces the ball that bounced in her and her family's direction after Walter angrily threw it at the basketball hoop off her hand and over to Horatio who was walking at her side just as Walter turns around just as Horatio starts bouncing the ball himself "how'd you know I was gonna be here?"  Walter asks as he walks over to them "where else would you be Walter?"  Horatio replies as he tosses the ball over to him and Eric and the rest of his team walk over to them "that's right we're always here for each other"  Eric says as he slides his hand over the back of Timothy's head Timothy looks up at him and smiles "I'm on Walter's team cause frankly uh, Calleigh and I bet money on this, and I want to throw a game"  Ryan says Zariah smiles shaking her head as Eric chuckles "I got Natalia"  Eric says "alright"  Natalia replies giving him a high five "come on well sit over here and cheer them on!"  Zariah says softly to her children as she slides her hands over the back of their heads and they rush over to the edge of the court with Caine at their heels Zariah starts to follow her children when she feels Horatio gently grip her wrist she stops and turns to face him when she hears him ask with a soft coo in his tone "where are you going!?!"  she smiles at him and he kisses her lips then lets her go and she continues on her way to join their children who were already sitting in the sand by the court with Caine in-between them and Horatio follows her with a smile on his face then sits by her side and feels her lay her head on his shoulder as they watch Natalia, Eric, Walter and Ryan play a basketball game with Calleigh as the referee he smiles when she slides her hand in his then looks at her when he feels her lift her head she nods over to Eric and he smiles then stands up walks back on the court and gets handed the ball then his family cheers him on as he shoots the ball into the hoop after saying "to Jesse"  and they watch the ball fly towards then fall into the hoop then Horatio returns to his wife's side and the game continues this time when Zariah laid her head on her husbands shoulder she closes her eyes and falls asleep and he kisses the top of her head as he continues to watch the game....
