"You're going to need this!"  Zariah tells Horatio as she hands him his spare gun that she seems to use quite a bit "you shot him!?!"  he asks softly with a surprised tone she nods then says softly "I'm glad I didn't bring Caine they weren't exactly professional shooters a little too sporadic and who knows how many "points" they'd get for shooting a dog!"  he hugs her gently "I think one of them was wearing Heely's"  she tells him softly pointing over to the tellers desk "can I borrow a pad of paper?!"  Zariah asks Horatio looks at her oddly then she softly calls out "hey Trippy can I borrow your notebook?!"  Frank walks over and hands his notebook and pen over to her "thanks"  she says then she starts to draw the masks of the robbers to the best of her ability and when she was done she hands the notepad to Horatio who looks down at it and smiles "I told you dating a CSI comes in handy helps you learn how to stay calm under pressure and pay a little too much attention to your surroundings!"  she teases he chuckles then asks softly "why don't I take you home!?"  she shakes her head and replies "you're needed here! and I really don't want to walk through that crowd especially since we all know the blonde Lois Lane is going to be there!"  he chuckles then replies with a smile "alright"  she looks into his eyes and says softly "I'm going to find someplace to sit I'm feeling a little light headed"  he nods then leads her over to one of the chairs by a desk in the bank away from the doors and windows cupping her not wounded arm with his hand gently as they walk "watch over her"  Horatio says to one of the officers nearby "yes sir!"  the officer replies then Horatio walks away with a worried expression on his face.... once Horatio was done in the bank he leads Zariah out of it and heads towards his Hummer then helps her inside and takes her home making sure she got some rest.... Alexx took care of her arm so she didn't have to go to the hospital.... the next time Horatio sees Zariah she walked into the Miami-Dade Police Department as he was interrogating one of the robbers he excuses himself then walks out of the Interrogation Room and over to her "what are you doing here!?!"  he asks softly once he reaches her side "I went to the doctors just in case something might of happened and I figured you'd like to see the results"  she replies handing him her doctors report he smiles as he takes the report from her "I know I could have called but I also knew you were busy I was going to hand it to AJ to give to you but you beat him to the punch!"  she tells him he chuckles then says with a smile "thank you"  she smiles then says softly "I'm going to go home now!"  he chuckles she kisses his cheek and walks away and he watches her leave then heads back into interrogation where the robber was cat calling his soon to be wife if he could finally work up the courage to make it happen but all he seems to do is make excuses as to why he can't not because he doesn't want to but in fear of something happening to her because she took his name as her own and with all the enemies he's made over his many years in the police force anything could happen and he feared the day it would not because he thinks she's weak but because he doesn't want to put her through it because of her life before him he wants a better life for her not one that's still trapped in the darkness without any light.... a week later Horatio meets Eric's dealer for his sisters cancer medication what pissed Horatio off was that Rick wanted to interrogate Zariah "keep it about the investigation and we'll do just fine ask anything not related to the investigation and Horatio here will find out just how nasty you taste!"  Horatio Caine hears Zariah say to Rick when it came to her time to be interviewed and he smirks when he hears his four pawed counterpart growl at Rick who takes a step back in fear even though Rick wouldn't allow him in the room during the interrogation Zariah had given Horatio Caine Horatio the pup's camera email so he could watch and listen in from wherever he was and luckily for Rick he kept the "conversation" on what it needed to be and asked the same questions he asked everyone else the only one that was different was when he asked about two of Zariah's siblings being adopted by Eric's sister and true to her word the Dark Golden/Red Retriever Horatio growled in warning when he went against Zariah's rules for Zariah knew Marisol and her adopted children had nothing to do with the investigation "well to save you from embarrassment this "interview" is over have a good day OFFICER!!"  Zariah says as she stands up "it's Sargent!"  Rick replies hotly Zariah scoffs with a smirk then she and Horatio walk out of the Interrogation Room over to where Horatio Caine stood "enjoy the show!?!"  she teasingly coos Horatio Caine chuckles softly with a smile and replies "yes I did, you handled that quite well!"  she slides her hand up his cheek and kisses his lips then steals the laptop he was using to watch the "show" from him making him chuckle as he watches her walk away from him with his four pawed counterpart at her heels.... about an hour or so later Zariah ends up babysitting her siblings so that Marisol could go talk to Horatio about the information Zariah had already given him about Marisol's cancer and medication but from the actual horse's mouth instead of rumor based on fact yes Zariah told Marisol that she told Horatio about her worries for her brother but she also explained that he needed to hear it from the source and that's why Marisol went AFTER finding out that Eric was suspended after testing positive for something he's never taken himself Marisol's biggest worry wasn't just Eric losing his job but her losing the children she has taken care of for four years and has known for much longer than that "Ratio and I would never let that happen Mari neither would Leigh, Del, Zandra or Trippy! they're yours and always will be yours!"   Zariah assures her softly Marisol hugs her then leaves to go talk to her friends boyfriend/fiancée....
