Ch 40: The Necromancer With Green Eyes

Who is he exactly?

 I noticed half the room looking confused some even alert or annoyed by the presence of an unfamiliar male standing in front of us. We were called in for a meeting Mr. Lee his wife arrived later on bringing this mysterious figure with her. The thing that annoyed me the most about his handsome face was the fact that those green eyes of his were focused on Y/N ever since he came in. 

''So you're telling us he is going to work with us?"' Someone clearly being suspicious by this figure spoke up.

''He is,'' Haewon spoke unbothered before stepping aside. 

''How about an introduction.'' She proposed as she let him take the spot. 

He cleared his throat before portraying a smile, but once again his eyes were locked on Y/N. It seemed she also noticed this. 

''Nice to meet you all I'm Kim Doyun and I'm a traveler.'' Hearing his status made most of the people scoff. The thing with our organization is we don't really like random newcomers joining us. Back in the past many of those types acted like they knew everything and were more superior to us. 

However Y/N her eyes almost seemed to sparkle hearing this. Either that or...she sensed something. 

''I don't like him,'' I muttered under my breath earning a chuckle from Hoseok next to me. 

''That's not a surprise.'' He commented.

''Is he one of us?'' Is he a vampire or some kind of detective?

''No, we would have known already.'' He was right. That's just something you can sense. 

''I have traveled many places, just recently I arrived in Seoul and have encountered an individual that has something to do with you guys. An original as you guys might know it? A male to be precise. He drugged a female when I stumbled upon the scene he was busy trying to kidnap her. I managed to save to female but he got away, later at, the scene arrived Haewon.'' He slightly turned to Haewon nodding his head. 

''I explained to her that this was a familiar thing I came across in several other countries during my travels. She then told me about the investigation going on.'' Is she crazy? Telling a mere stranger this. He isn't even one of our kind. 

''Before I became a traveler I was actually an agent. Back in the States, I worked for a company doing the exact same things you guys are doing. Working on supernatural cases and keeping humans safe.''

''Why did you quit?'' Good question Lylla.

''I had set a different goal in my life. One to help restore my bloodline. You see the thing is I'm sure you guys already sensed I'm not a vampire, but I'm not a normal human being either.''

''What a werewolf or let me guess a necro-''

''I'm a necromancer.'' Before I could finish my sentence I fell quiet hearing him take the joke out of my mouth but putting it down as a fact. 

And with that said half of the set of eyes in the room got darted towards Y/N.

''Like most of you are familiar with the story our bloodline is known to be close to extinction during the battle that occurred hundreds of years ago, but it's not true. There are some of us still alive. I'm traveling the world to find others of my kind and bring us all back together. I heard that there was a fellow necromancer among your allies.''

So that's what this bastard is trying to do! Getting his hands on Y/N is that it?

''So you're here for Y/N is that it? You don't even want to help with our case.'' As I spoke my mind I noticed his gaze soften hearing me say Y/N her name.
