Ch 6: Contracts and mixed feelings

I plopped myself on the bed as frustration rushed through my veins. 

Why make a contract with me if I'm such a bother? Why is he still protecting me? Just end the contract then. He is just....getting on my nerves right now. Honestly, I feel betrayed. He has been so caring to me, I truly felt that he wanted to protect me. Heck, my heart even skipped because of him, but you're telling me that while he was acting so kind and caring it was just a bother to him? 

''I'm coming in'' Hearing Jungkook announce that he was entering didn't make me any happier. 

''What do you want?'' I grunted noticing him walking up to me. 

''We need to talk'' He answered before seating himself next to me. 

''I know that you were listening to our conversation'' He added making my mouth fall open.

''H-Ho-''

''I'm a vampire remember'' he interrupted making me roll my eyes. 

''So what do we need to talk about'' I spoke uninterested as I kept my back facing him. 

''You're a bother. An extreeemeeee bother to me. It's like having to babysit a human. Always gotta make sure that you're safe and not hurt. In my 86 years of living on this earth I have never made a contract with a human. Cause you see I like to live freely. Doing my job at the department. Solving cases, fighting with vampires, spending my time with ladies, Feed on who ever I wanna feed. But now I'm tied down to you. I can't drink from anyone else except for you, I can't just simply enjoy my time at a club or easily sit down at work knowing that you're probably being targeted by yet another vampire. But I'm willing to live like this cause I get extremely rare and stong blood in return.'' Hearing him say that I couldn't help but smile as I sat myself straight on the bed looking at him. 

''Seems like you're more a servant to me than I am to you'' I smirked only to see it hit a nerve within him. 

Before he could even open his mouth I decided to speak more of my mind. 

''If I'm such a bother why don't you just end the contract? Besides I never asked for this contract in the first place.'' I scoffed folding my arms as I did. 

''Like I said you're a strong vessel. Any Vampire would be stupid to not make a contract to you'' 

That's not what you said to Mr.Min

''Then why act so caring? What was it again? Locking humans up? If I'm such a bother why don't you just lock me up and use me as a walking blood bag like all those other vampires you talked about.''

''You know I'm not like that'' He spoke....his expression seemed rather serious. 

''Then what do you want me to do Jungkook? I didn't ask for this in the first place okay. I'm not telling you to take responsibility because of that stupid contract. You're putting that on yourself. So I honestly don't get why you're shifting the blame to me.'' 

This conversation is going nowhere. How I see it, is that Jungkook simply doesn't want to protect me, but he also doesn't want to end the contract cause he wants my blood. Man I feel honored. 

''It is your fault. I don't want to protect you, I don't want to care, but I can't focus at all. I keep on thinking if you're safe or not, if you're hurt or not. If you're eating properly, if you feel unsafe. I can't focus on anything at all. And when I stormed in today seeing you got attacked it made me angry. Angry at myself that I wasn't able to protect you'' His voice started to become louder but not at a point that it counted as shouting.
