Y/N
The smell of the hospital rooms became awfully familiar to me. I carefully traced my finger alongside Jooha her face watching her sleep.
It's been 4 days......
Seoul became restless...
The existence of vampires was now known to the citizens...known to the world. The company received a new building to move into, more than half of its people were still undergoing recovery.
Mr. Lee luckily survived with help of his wife her blood, but many people lost their lives that day. Partly because of me...it was something I still couldn't forgive myself for. I didn't show my face after the incident. Jungkook came to get me and led me to our apartment, telling me to stay there.
I get it...I'm an evil being in some people their eyes. It was only natural that I had to go into hiding. I didn't blame anyone for that. I'm already glad that I can come and visit Jooha like this.
I was relieved when I first saw her, she was unconscious but knowing that she was back by my side made me happy. Yet when looking at the damage done to her made me fall back again into a pit. Back into blaming myself for not taking care of the people around me.
The Royals were all dead...only the ring leader known as Zinon was successfully captured at the airport. As of known he was being held captive, safe and secure somewhere only a few people know of. From what I heard he hasn't been talking ever since he was put behind bars.
My mother has spammed me with calls, on the day itself as a matter of fact. Once reporters started swarming around the old SCI building and broadcasting the battle was going on, she instantly called.
Obviously, I was in no state to pick up, but after I called her back the following day I told her we needed to talk. Lying to her....no longer felt good. It never did actually but we tell ourselves we lie to keep the other safe. To prevent the other party from worrying, but now with the whole world knowing of this particular existence of a supernatural being that was only actually alive in fairy tales or movies. It felt only logical to come clean to my mother, to tell her about the people around me....what I have become.
So I visited her yesterday...and the thing that shocked me the most was the fact that she wasn't surprised about what I had become. 'It was only a matter of time' she called it. Somewhere I slightly thought so, probably because my grandma already paving part of my road. It's something that ran in our family's blood so my mother wasn't too stressed about it.
She did however stress about me basically becoming part of the SCI. The danger is something she isn't fond of. Being a necromancer is one thing, she rather wants me to live with this ability in peace, hidden, living my life like before..a regular human being. But knowing that I want to put my abilities to use against other forces was a bit too much for her.
She spends 3 hours convincing me not to that day. Afterward, we cried together and hugged, that's when she gave in.
Doyun was also one of the people to spam with calls after the world went wild about what happened. He was ready to take the first flight back but instead, we came to a different approach. I will be leaving Seoul...I already informed everyone. After Jooha makes a full recovery and goes back to the States I too will be leaving this country. I will stay with Doyun and the others that share the same blood as me. Now that Nue has granted me full knowledge and control of her gift...I felt like sharing everything I know with others. Doyun seemed to be aware only of the inferno abilities of us necromancers, but there is more to that. Our healing abilities, senses. These were things I was now aware of and I want to share that knowledge. After all, I did promise that I would go with him....after this was over. Besides we came to a conclusion that being here might not be the best for me, because there are too many people with bad blood in their mouths.
