Ch 39: The Harsh Truth

I did say something wrong...He has been quiet ever since. 

''I got them from my mother.'' He was done patching up my wound, as he placed away all the medical equipment he started to talk again. 

''My eyes. My father was a farmer. Tan skin, black hair, and dark brown eyes, just like the rest of my family. My mother was a noblewoman, pale skin, brunette locks, and what everyone adored about her were her deep blue eyes. One time during her travels she met my dad, they fell in love and got married. My 2 other siblings took over mostly my dad his appearance, when I got born my mother, unfortunately, lost her life.'' Suddenly this took a different turn.

''My eyes are jewels that she left me or so my dad used to say.'' My hands moved on their own trapping his face between them, even so, he didn't look surprised or alarmed at all. 

''They really are jewels'' That's when I froze up. 

What the heck am I saying?! And what the hell am I even doing?!

''The bath has been prepared, my lord.'' I quickly pulled my hand back straightening my back.

''Thank you, Casey, please guide our guest to the room. You can come back after that, I need some assistant for attending my wounds.'' He picked himself up from the ground and left the room not even once looking at me.

Am I an idiot? What the hell am I doing acting so friendly with the enemy. Or perhaps...that's what I'm supposed to do. It seems like he started to open up to me. Isn't that why he told me something about himself? Maybe this is just right. Getting close, forming some kind of bond so I can take advantage and get the hell out of here. 

''Y/N...I hope you're okay.'' She must be really worried knowing I went missing...

I sighed deeply the lovely rose scent relaxing my body. I sank lower into the tub after scanning around the marble bathroom a bit longer. 

Where the hell am I...

''You should feed.'' 

''Just patch it up, for now, it will heal eventually.'' I leaned myself backward allowing Casey to disinfect the open wound on my chest. 

''All I'm saying is you have your hands on a perfectly healthy S class human. I don't understand why you won't use it for its purpose.''

''No need to worry I'm just letting her adjust for now.''

I can't do this...

I felt her hand pulling onto my neck, pushing our faces close to one another. 

''You have been avoiding my lips the whole time.'' Her comment came with a small chuckle as she lifted her head from the pillow going in for a kiss but before she could I pulled away. 

Luckily we didn't get to the point of me putting it in yet allowing me to swiftly move away from the bed. 

''W-What's wrong?''

It's not the same. With Y/N everything felt like electricity tickling my senses. Her skin, her hands, her voice, the way our bodies moved together. It was amazing. I never met someone so compatible with me, but this right now.
