Ch 51: The Real Vampire?

Once I opened the door to head back to the meeting room I came face to face with Hoseok. No Y/N insight.

''You heard?'' Damn how embarrassing 

''A pair of walls isn't going to block out our hearing senses, you know that right?'' Great so everyone heard...

''Jungkook yo-''

''I know, Y/N already told me you don't have to tell me twice. I'm the one at fault here wanting to detain her in a cage. She has things she wants to fight for on her own, things she wants to protect. I know that but still....that doesn't mean I won't worry.'' A small laugh came from his mouth as I pushed him aside hearing myself say such things.

''Wow, The Jeon Jungkook actually caring for someone like that.''

''You mean The Jeon Jungkook getting rejected for the first time.'' Both of us let out a laugh thinking about the situation. 

''You don't really seem bothered by it.'' I know...

''It's because it doesn't matter. Rejected or not I still care about her, I want to be a person she can rely on. Someone she wants to rely on. Besides she told me there was a point she liked me. Although she has changed that sweet, caring side of her is still there. I'll just make her fall for me again.''

''And so this is the information we have obtained''

I focused on the screen looking at the marked locations. 

The Original that Mr. Kang caught not too long ago finally spoke up. He gave us 2 locations. One where is told there would be an auction held along with the date and time. He informed us that 2 other Originals will be organizing the auction. 

Another location is said to be one of their hideouts, but the question is....can we trust his information.

''We still don't know if we can trust him.'' Somehow what was on my mind slipped my lips. 

''Correct.'' Mr. Lee slightly sighed as he placed his hands on the table in front of him. 

''According to his story, he started joining the corporation for the money, but later on, noticed even though the upper ranks were Originals there was still a status change. He got treated poorly and the wages that were promised to him weren't what he received. So he had been thinking about quitting but stepping out of the corporation means death.''

''We still don't know if we can trust anything he said but there is only one way to find out, in 2 weeks the auction will be held, I'll set up a team to intervene. Another team will head to their rumored hideout and see what we can find there.''

''Be my vessel.'' Not that whisper again...

A small chill reached my spine while I tried to ignore the cold air brushing around me.

''Y/N are you okay?'' Namgi his hands landed on my shoulders carefully squeezing them.

His reaction is totally different from Jungkook's

''I'm fine...Jooha she is..'' A small smile tugged on my lips knowing that she is alive and well. I noticed Namgi smiling as well.

''Looking at your face it seems she is doing well.'' I nodded hearing him release a relieved sigh. 

''Thank god.'' He breathed out. After all, Jooha is a good friend to him too.
