Ch 4: Night of Vampires

A little more then a month has passed already. My life....it just started going back to normal. Nothing happened to me. I just spend my days going to work, meeting with friends on my days off, or lazying around, just like I used to. The only difference is that I live with Jungkook now. At first, I thought my life would get completely turned around, but the fact is....we don't see each other that often. In the beginning, Jungkook would always walk me home from work, but nothing really happened so I told him he doesn't have too. Sometimes when I get home he is already sleeping or not at home. I rarely see him. He is barely at home and I know it's because he has a life of his own. His own job and friends he probably hangs with, but I can't help but be curious about it. It's just...I never asked what kind of work he does. 

A groan escaped my mouth hearing my alarm beep loudly through the room. I turned around as a yawn escaped my mouth ready to turn it off. Opening my eyes I noticed Jungkook stretching out towards it instead, turning it off. 

''Thanks,'' I yawned once again seeing him turn to me as he laid back down again. 

''No problem'' He smiled as I closed my eyes. 

Just 5 more minutes, luckily today is the last workday of this w-

''Jungkook!!'' I shouted being instantly wide awake as I sat on the bed. He opened his eyes lazily rubbing them as he looked at me. 

''What?'' 

''Don't What me!! Why are you sleeping here'' I nagged.

''The livingroom became cold'' He muttered before sinking his head back into the pillow. 

''If you were cold then why are you sleeping without a shirt on!'' I felt so flustered seeing him next to me I can't help but shout.

''Your body was warm'' He muttered as a reply making me cover my chest with my arms. 

''You pervert'' I glared seeing him open his eyes again.

''You are the one that clinged onto me'' He stated making me scoff.

''Oh please as if'' I huffed before getting of the bed making sure to slap his head with my pillow before heading towards the bathroom.

''I'm going to make a smoothie, do you want one as we-'' 

And he is gone again....

''Ah finally it's weekend!'' Byeol smiled from beside me as she stretched her arms. 

''It is but to be honest I'm too scared to even go outside during my days off'' Hyemi a colleague of us spoke catching our attention. 

''Because of that serial killer?'' Namgi asked making an appearance as well, joining in on the conversation. 

She nodded her head at what he said and honestly I completely understands how she feels. It's that I'm a bit more at ease having Jungkook around, but still. I can't help but think something bad will happen to me if I roam these streets alone. 

''But lately there hasn't been any news about it. Perhaps the killer has stopped or they already caught him'' Byeol spoke making me shake my head. 

''If they would have caught him I'm sure they would have reported it to the media already. I think he or she is just laying low for now.''

''Do you really think it might be a vampire?'' Hyemi asked. I could tell....that she was already feeling scared. 

''How ridiculous it sounds I don't think we are the only people living on earth.'' I stated my opinion causing Namgi to snap his fingers.
