Ch 7: The meaning of being a servant

Reaching the building my mouth fell open. This isn't just an apartment. It's literally one of the luxury apartments in this area. Both Jungkook and I entered the building. Stepping inside it looked so fancy. I quietly walked behind him as we entered the elevator heading towards the 14th floor. 

''It's huge'' I spoke entering our new place to stay. There was a huge window from the ceiling till the floor displaying the view. The living room was so spacious decorated with a sofa, flat-screen tv, coffee table, and some artsy accessorize. Walking away from the livingroom I stumbled upon the kitchen. It was twice the size of my kitchen. And the livingroom room together with the dining corner was basically my whole apartment floor. Jungkook was fast to check the rooms out as well. 

I stayed in the kitchen scanning around until Jungkook came out of one of the doors. 

''Great, there is the master bedroom and a guest room. So lucky for you, you don't have to sleep on the couch'' He smiled making me scoff. Lucky me....

''I'm gonna go now. Hoseok and I will be getting our stuff from your place. You should stay here'' He informed. He was already putting on his coat but somehow I started to panic.

''W-Wait....you can't leave me alone'' In a hurry I found myself tugging at his sleeve, but hearing myself say this made shocked for a moment. 

Why did I say that? I must seem pathetic to him.

''You're safe here'' Jungkook spoke. His voice sounded reassuring and calm. 

Perhaps he is right...

I pulled my hand back gently letting go of his sleeve. 

I can't stop thinking about him. Those red eyes, those blonde locks framing his face, the grip he had one me. It feels like even now he is holding onto my wrists so tightly. Most of all I can't forget what he said....

''Be aware. I'll come find you again sweet thing''

Those words hunt me....Was it just an empty threat? It didn't feel like one. Thinking back about that moment....I never got so scared in my entire life. That vampire....really scares me. 

''Y/N?'' Suddenly seeing Jungkook lean towards my face made me snap out of my thoughts. 

''Ah it's nothing....Have a safe trip'' I cracked a smile before turning away. 

I might go lie down for a bit. Everything that happened the passed days just became a bit too much. Ever since I met Jungkook.....my life has been a mess.

''Found you......''

I opened my eyes in a hurry, an unpleasant shiver ran over my back as I scanned the dark room. 

I was just imagening it.....

''How long did I sleep?'' Rubbing my eyes I fished for my phone seeing that it was 10 Pm. 

''Did I sleep for so long!?'' I shouted out loud as I got off the bed in a hurry. I exited the guest room making my way towards the livingroom. 

To be honest it was the best I have slept these couple of days. 

All the lights were on and the room was filled with boxes and suitcases. 

Our stuff is here....but..

''Jungkook?'' I scanned around the room not getting a glimpse of him nor any response. As I entered the kitchen my eyes fell on a box of fried chicken filling the air with it's lovely scent.
