Ch 45: A Sign Of Affection

I bit my lip trying to control my emotions as I focused on the moon outside. One of my favorite things about this bedroom was the fact that there is a huge window next to my bed. Looking at the night sky and the stars were all I did mostly these 2 weeks. 

The maids brought me to my bedroom and informed me about my bath being ready. They insisted on washing me but luckily after nagging about it they left me alone. The door leading to the bathroom next to me was still wide open. I could smell the scent of the rose oil filling the room. 

I didn't take a bath. After coming back...I stayed here. Seated on the ground leaning against my bed looking at the moon. I was a mess, I smelled, I was hungry but right now...I don't care about any of that. 

''Miss you really have to eat..''

''I said leave me alone.'' Another maid I have send away. It was the third one already coming in to convince me to eat or take a bath. 

30 minutes past and once more I could hear footsteps approaching me.

Another maid again?

''As I said can't you guys just leave me alone.'' My voice came out harsh but with shaking breaths. 

''After you wash up and eat we will.'' That voice alone made my body freeze up. 

I thought he left again...

I didn't dare to look at him and instead, my eyes stayed glued on the stars. 

''You made it back, it was faster than I expected.'' A chuckle left his mouth while his voice appeared to come closer. His joke was really hitting my nerves. 

''What do you want...'' 

''I want you to wash up and e-''

''No really, what do you want!!'' Before I knew it I found myself staring at his face while yelling like a madwoman. 

''My blood? You're not even feeding on me. Can't you just let me go? I won't tell anyone about this and I'll even give you my blood whenever you want, isn't that good enough??'' 

I'm starting to show my desperate side. 

''They already know that I'm the one who has you.'' 

They know!? That means they will rescue me before I know it!

''You have such a nice place here, new clothes, delicious food and you're safe. You really wanna leave that badly?'' I got a bit of guard feeling his fingers caress my cheek. He never did something like this, but then again...his words were making me feel miserable. 

''You don't get it...'' I leaned back pulling myself away from his touch before focussing back on the moon. 

''You took everything from me, you pulled me away from everyone and want me to live without worries here? Don't be ridiculous.'' Ah, I'm starting to get annoyed.

''Y/N is going through so much right now. I'm worried about her and the last thing I want to do is make her worried about me. My colleagues are probably thinking where I am. If they reported this everyone knows I have been kidnapped and missing. I'm making everyone worry....especially my mom...She is still back in the States, we would text or call every day. I'm sure she is worried sick right now wondering why I'm not answering any of my messages or calls. Perhaps she even called Y/N to ask...if my mom knows that I'm missing. She...wi-''

''No one reported you missing.'' Somehow that pecked relief. 

''They are keeping the investigation low so they didn't leak any of this to the press. They told the company that you're taking a hiatus due to health issues and your mother...I'm sure she is worried sick.'' Why would I believe anything this guy says?
