Ch 35: Till Death Do Us Part

''Are you surprised that I wanted to meet?'' I slightly smiled as I nodded my head while allowing Namgi to enter my apartment. 

''A bit yeah,'' I spoke truthfully. His back was facing me as he scanned my apartment in amazement. 

''Hyung you're a really neat person, I see.'' His statement came with a shy smile causing the effect to work on me as well. 

''Didn't expect that?'' I joked as I patted him on the shoulder before guiding him to the couch.

''Want something to drink? I was just about to make tea.'' I looked over my shoulder from the kitchen, noticing him look like an excited little kid, who came over to a friend's house to play. 

''Tea is fine.'' He smiled flashing a set of dimples.

''So you're interested as well, I see.'' I placed both our cups of tea on the coffee table accompanied by some sugar and milk. 

''Mmm yeah. I mean I never really thought much of it. From my parents and grandparents I always hear that necromancers aren't with us in this world anymore, but to think that Y/N is linked to that kind. It makes me curious. I want to be educated more about them, not just out of interest but for her sake as well.'' 

I heard that the two of them know each other since middle school. Y/N must mean a lot to him. 

''Yeah, I get that. I also started to knowledge myself more for her sake. Especially since I'm training her. I'm wishing for Y/N to bring out her true potential. To use her strength not only to protect herself but protect others in need as well.'' 

Even though I'm stating this so confidently, am I really the proper trainer for her?

''But there is only a limit to the knowledge we can receive. If we really want to teach her everything there is to know then....'' I stopped mid-way feeling my thoughts taking over. 

Is there possibly someone like that?

''Then she should be trained by someone of her own kind.'' It was like reading my thoughts as Namgi finished my previous statement. 

''Yeah...Right now she is just a ticking time bomb you can say. One triggered by feelings. I'm scared that one day she won't be stable enough to control it.''

''That's why I wanna learn more too, for her sake.'' I nodded in agreement while ruffling his hair. 

He is a good kid. 

As I bent over to take a hold of my tea, I stopped midway, hearing the familiar sound of my phone going off. 

''Hyung you're getting a call.'' I guess Namgi noticed how hesitant I was to pick it up. Causing him to state the obvious. 

''Hello.''

''238-1, Noksapyeong-daero, Yongsan-gu. Leave this instant, that's an order.'' 

Mr. Lee?

''Sir, May I ask wha-''

''Hoseok-ah I'm sorry.........''

What is he sorry for?

''I can't explain right now. Just get to this address as quickly as possible I'll explain everything later.'' and with that, he hung up.

''Something wrong?'' I was just as confused as Namgi as I lowered my phone while staring at the lukewarm tea in front of me.
