Ch 44: Escape Plan

It's been 2 weeks since I have been here. Of course, when I first got brought here I was scared, it's something I tried to hide but it stayed on my mind. 

What is he going to do to me?

How long will I stay here?

What if he ends up killing me?

These were all thoughts taking over my mind on a daily basis, but later on, they faded away. The reason...all the worst-case scenarios that I had on my mind, didn't happen.

2 weeks here and instead of being locked up in a room with shredded clothes, chained up and starving. I'm actually getting new dresses to wear every day, 3 meals a day, and allowed to walk around freely as I please. Not once has this man made a move on me for my blood? That said during my 2 weeks here I have only seen him 3 times. He is almost never present here. Leaving me alone with his various maids walking around. 

From time to time, the mansion would be filled with males as well. All vampires I'm assuming. Mostly dressed in black and covered in tattoos. Making me come to the conclusion that...Mr. Hak is probably the boss of some kind of gang?

Like always it's a quiet day, only the maids and I were present. It's nice and all not being treated like a prisoner but the most important thing for me....is to escape.

I'm sure Y/N is worried. I'm also worried about her. I should get out of here as soon as possible. 

Walking the halls in a new flowy white gown, I bowed greeting the maids I came across.

I feel like some kind of royal person. 

I came to a hold noticing finally no one was in sight. Turning over my left I looked down at the beautiful flower garden outside. I have been there multiple times. When stuck here for 2 weeks that was a place I would spend most of my time. There, or a room filled with millions of books. It was like a library of its own. 

It's 2 pm, which means the main maid is probably working on lunch right now.

I silently made my way downstairs entering the garden. 

Shoes...

Looking down at my bare feet I slightly turned around, once more no one in sight. 

Screw it...

And so I proceeded. 

I had checked the garden multiple times already, the thing is. Once you exit the garden at the back you come into an open field. And in the distance, you can see multiple trees creating a forest. 

That's where I will escape. 

I don't know how much land Mr. Hak owns, but If I keep walking I might end up on a road. Or something else. 

Once more I turned over my shoulder checking my surroundings. 

And now that no one is here...It's time to run. 

Just like that, I slipped away from the garden entering the open space. I took a moment to look around thinking clearly where I would run to. A set of tall trees caught my eyes and without any thought, I started to run. 

The grass under my bare feet felt soft and moist. Gradually my breath started to become unsteady as my hands held onto the side of my dress lifting it up. 

Run Jooha Run...And just don't look back. 

I closed my eyes letting out an exhausted scream telling myself to push through.
