Ch 66: Enemy?

A loud beep came from my left ear, noticing that my in-ear was still in, but due to the damage, it was having some issues.

''Leave! E-Every.....Leave.''

What the heck is going on there?

''The building is on f-'' And with that, no sound longer came from it, instead my hearing senses caught a loud stinging sound causing me to discard the piece from my ear.

''Get up Toki, let's finish this quickly.'' 

Please don't get up Toki. 

I was trying to get up myself but my knees remained weak. For a female, she is stronger than I thought. 

I can't die...

''Lamonia don't kill him yet.....'' Lamonia... 

Another name was revealed, but knowing that Toki was awake and well made my chances of surviving slim. Besides that, the chaos that was going on from the other side of the earpiece was making me worried as well.

I'm having my hands full with these two but who knows what's happening out there. From what I think they brought a lot of their minions to do their dirty work. What if we are actually.....losing.

''Just shut up.'' I watched her eyes lock with mine as she confidently took her steps towards me. Once more I felt blood filling my throat as my arms started to tremble due to the lack of strength. 

I'm going to die.....but not without trying to bring these two with me.

''Forgive me Haew-''

My eyes widened and blood splat on the floor as I coughed due to a shock. 

My eyes are deceiving me.....

It seemed everything lost speed. The windows shattered into tiny pieces, Toki stumbled backward in the background due to the shock, and Lamonia was seized by her throat due to the figure that came in. 

She was a tall lean figure, familiar dark locks, and fairly pale skin. 

It made my heart race ten times faster looking at her. Her grip tightened on Lamonia her neck as her heel dugged into the ground. She gathered strength before swinging her arm throwing Lamonia against the sidewall. 

The wall crashed down because of the impact, with the female Royal laying between the rubble. 

''Haewon!'' Am I dreaming? Why is she here? Isn't she in the States? 

Before I could pick myself from the ground she was already in front of me her hands, cupping my face harshly. The look in her eyes was something she showed me rarely. 

It was worry. 

''You idiot, how could you let yourself get hurt like this...'' She scanned my body and face checking for injuries. Leaving me with unanswered questions. 

''Why are you here?'' Placing my hand over hers made her fall silent, and I could tell that her heart was picking up its pace. 

''Something felt off......So I decided to come back, then I noticed what was going on when I arrived.'' If it wasn't for you I would have probably been dead. 

''You're not healing....'' Once again that worried expression on her face was making my heart weak. 

''It's wild rose...'' I can't even stand up anymore, it really poisoned my strength. 

''I'll end this quickly, just stay seated. We need to get out of here fast, the lower floors are on fire.''

''Fire?''
