Mr. Lee
I focused on the night view outside. The city was lit up while being covered with a blanket of stars.
It sure looks beautiful
Just thinking about all this falling to the ground because of my own people, was something that made my hands itch. All I could think about were the innocent people having to go through hell. Fearing their own life and that of their children. These days its common that most people shut themselves inside at this hour. Late night walks through the park or going drinking with friends after work was feared. These peole didn't feel safe anymore. Lately all of these mysterious disappearings and murders popping up made most of them think...what if Vampires are real. The bite marks, the methods it was natural to connect them to a species that you know a lot about but were always known as fairy tale creatures.
Like when people would go missing at sea. Known to be only men. Going fishing but to never return, or remains would be found. People will instantly start thinking what if it really are mermaids calling out to men by lurring them into the depths of the ocean. It's only natural for them to think we exist as well.
I felt a soft gust of wind blowing against my back, through the reflection I noticed a familair figure appearing behind me.
''This is the report.'' I turned around locking eyes with Haewon. Apparently she got the intel about a vampire trying to kidnap a woman today here in Seoul. We are thinking perhaps he belongs to that group of orignials, unfortunately he got away.
''Thank you'' I grabbed the files from her hand placing them next to me on the table.
''We need to keep a close eye on those two girls.'' She is talking about Jooha and Y/N.
''I know......we will.'' Silence fell as I found myself falling into a pit of darkness. Who are these people? Why are they doing this? Why can't we all just live normally together? What if...what if we can't protect Jooha and Y/N....
''I should get goi-''
My hand found it's way taking a hold of one of her long locks. I twirled my finger around her honey blonde hair. It saddened me.
''I told you, you can get rid of this disguise infront of me. I like your natural appearance the most.'' As I was speaking I noticed the hair intertwined with my finger slowly starting to turn back to its orignal black color. When I looked up locking eyes, it weren't green ones but deep red ones look at me. Her skin faded back to its natural pale color.
She is so beautiful.
''You're beautiful.'' She slightly scoffed at my compliment while averting her eyes to the city view behind me.
''You're the weird one for thinking I'm beautiful. While everyone was fearing me or making fun of me for my appearance, you were the only fool who would call me beautiful whenever we met. All I remember from my childhood is crying at the fountain in our garden and this weak little boy who was way shorter than me trying to comfort me.'' These memories she spoke of were very known to me.
''It doens't matter what everyone else says to me Hae-''
''Haewon will be the most beautfiul person in this world.'' I finished her sentence recalling the words I told her that day.
To me her appearance is a minor thing. It's not common but there is nothing wrong with it either. But to Haewon it was.. None of her parents or grandparents have this appearance. She has always seemed like someone else's child and was treated like an outcast. While humans feared her vampires would make fun of her. 'You're the real devil' things of that sort would be said to her. Till this day no one knows why she is born this way and at a early age she learned how to alter her appearnance. Changing her hair, eye color and skin tone. Is it really just me who feels mesmerized by her orginal appearance?
When I first met her we were 3 years old. I felt amazed, those deep red eyes and dark hair. The most astonishing thing was the fact that while our eyes would turn red whenever we would get blood thirst, hers who are naturally red would get a hint of gold mixed within.
''I should get going. Let's call it a night.'' Before she could vanish infront of my eyes I held onto her arm quickly.
''I told you, you could just spend the night at my hou-''
''Goodnight.'' It was then she showed me a smile before disappearing. A smile I saw 4 years ago for the last time.

''Shouldn't you be keeping an eye on Y/N and Jooha?''
''They are both sleeping and there is a team set on them. They are currently keeping watch.'' I took a sip of the fresh brewed coffee while looking around the apartement.
It's been a long time since I last came to Hoseok his place.
''So? Why the sudden visit?'' I really need to talk about it...
----------------------------------------------
''I'm assuming it isn't love, knowing you.'' I nodded my head looking at the coffee resting in my cup.
''I care for her, but it definitliy isn't love.'' I made clear. Hoseok took a hold of a chair placing himself infront of me.
''Are you sure?'' I couldn't help but chuckle at his question.
''If it wasn't for her blood and the contract I wouldn't be doing these things with her. I'm only set on fulfilling my needs it's not like I wanna shower her with gifts and bring her on dates. Y/N is a good person so it's natural to care, especially cause she is my servant. It's a huge responisbility, but I....sometimes feel to drained.''
He nodded his head taking a sip of his own coffee as well.
''I get it.''
''You know me ever since my 20's I have been with countless of women. I had no problem managing my intake, but now that I'm limited to only one person it's hard so I have been thinking o-''
''Breaking of the contract.'' He finished my sentence knowing me too well.
''But I'm not sure if right now would be the right moment. With everything going on wouldn't it be safer to keep her under my service?''
''I think you should really have this talk with Y/N. See what she wants, this isn't something you can decide on your own.''
''You're right.''
