Several months later...

The tall, pale creature paced about its cell. It was little more than a solid steel box with a door that would allow the creature within to be relocated if need be.

Despite the dismal air of this place, the creature was content to spend the rest of his days here, if only it meant not hurting anyone.

The alarms suddenly blared and its head whipped around.

"The facility is experiencing multiple Euclid- and Keter-class breaches in containment. Evacuate immediately."

Containment breach? Again?

The creature simply loped over to the corner and sat down, leaning back against the wall. He'd learned that if he just stayed quiet in his cell, then no one would notice him and he would be left alone.

Wait.

Were those... footsteps? Coming towards his cell?

A flash of bright light suddenly burst into the dark cell right next to him. It vanished as quickly as it had appeared, but in that time he saw a young woman in a white coat and glasses rush into his cell.

What? Who is that-

The two locked eyes and in that instant, he felt that uncontrollable, unconscious rage-panic that swelled up within him whenever someone looked at his face.

He pressed his fists to the sides of his head as a scream began to rise in his throat, trying to fight the tide of fearful rage threatening to spill out.
