"Thanks for standing up for me... uh... sorry, what's your name again?" Dr. Collingwood gulped, realizing that she'd forgotten the 939's name in the heat of the moment.
"Sharpclaw. My name is Sharpclaw."
"Yes, Sharpclaw. Thanks for standing up for me."
Sharpclaw shrugged. "Our teachers always told us to give a voice to those who don't have one. And even though Charlie and his brothers were protecting you, and some were displeased, no one else was really speaking up, not even the elders. I felt that someone had to. So I did."
Charlie slowly came over to Sharpclaw and smiled. The 939s holding him had been made by the rest of the pack to let go. "I'm proud of you, little one."
Simon and Eddie suddenly burst in, John, Billy, and Lawrence following after them. "Charlie! Molly!"
"Oh, don't worry, we're fine," called Charlie. "And all because of this lil' tyke."
Sharpclaw waved at them, an adorable little smile on his face. "Hi!"
Lawrence looked at the young 939, then chuckled. "You have to tell me later."

"So he managed to convince the whole pack with just a speech? Wow." Lawrence stared off in the direction of the 939 cell.
"To be honest, he didn't need to change anyone's opinion. The pack already hates Bloodfang. He just needed to convince them to actually speak up," Eddie said.
"Actually, he wouldn't. His reputation is already so bad that the pack would turn on him if he even touched a child," Simon remarked.
Charlie turned to Dr. Collingwood. "Sharpclaw talked to me a few months earlier about you. He said that he wanted to help, even though he couldn't. At least, that's what I thought. But I guess I'm wrong. And I'm pretty happy about that."
