Chapter 49: Scolded

"That was a very stupid decision, Billy," Director Jones said sternly. "If not for the fact that you have helped the Foundation as much as you have, you would be punished far more severely. I understand your reasons for being angry, but that does not justify attacking personnel."

Billy simply nodded. When he'd found out that there had been an attempt to terminate John (before he regained control over his rage-state), he'd understood, but had been extremely upset by it. In fact, Dr. Collingwood's submission of a proposal was the only thing he still somewhat held against her. But at least she'd come clean and apologized for it. Bearded Bastard didn't even try to give any apology for throwing him into the sun. Still, in hindsight, trying to attack Dr. Logan was not the best idea.

Eddie and Simon sat in the seats to his left and right. Eddie had on a straight face, but emitting from his throat, too low for the human ear to detect, was a deep, frustrated growl. Simon had his head down, partially hiding his incensed expression.

"I do not blame you for being attacked by Billy, Eddie, and Simon, but admitting that you were the one who proposed that John be terminated by being thrown into the sun was an incredibly stupid idea that could have gotten you killed. Be a little more careful what you say next time." Dr. Buck glared at Dr. Logan.

"Alright, alright, I know," he snapped. "I still stand by my opinion that 09- John is little more than a nuisance to us."

Dr. Buck shook her head as the bearded researcher stormed out of her office. John saved Dr. Collingwood from an SCP that he has a phobia of. And was so nice that he saved you from his friends when you admitted that you were the one who tried to kill him. How thick is your skull?
