*3 days later* Billie: It was December 20th, 2006, the day of Charlie's funeral. His mother requested a church funeral, and we all gathered in front of the beautiful church in his hometown of Minnesota. Adie has not been her for the past 3 days. She was frozen and didn't say a word. She didn't eat or drink. She was getting an infusion. I had to force her to eat and drink. I cooked for her, made her smoothies, helped her shower and get dressed, and I never budged from her side. She was lying in my arms all day long. She came down, saw Adie lying in my arms and pushed me, "Adie is Charlie's wife, not yours, I hate you!!" she said crying... Her father immediately took her by the hand and said, "I don't want you to talk to him." He gave me an angry look and looked horrified at Adie, who was in my arms. It did hurt that his family despised me... I have never meant to hurt him. Adie clung to me and didn't let me go when I wanted to go on stage. "I'll take care of her," said Tre, sliding over to us. He carefully took her in his arms and hugged her protectively. I nodded thankfully and went on my way, and the pastor handed me the microphone. His family looked disgusted when they saw me...
