Nora: "Adie?" I whispered cautiously as I went into her room. She seemed to be asleep, so I gently closed the door behind me. Mixed feelings came over me when I saw her... A part of me still gave her the blame for Charlie's fate. But then I went closer and saw her baby belly, the anger evaporated, and I noticed how happy I was... I sat down next to her and covered her softly. When I touched her, she woke up and asked "Billie...?" "Hey no... it's me, Nora." She looked at me and started crying. "You are pregnant!!" I said, sobbing happily, and took her in my arms. "I'm sorry hun, I should have been there for you after his death." For a while we were both wrapped up tightly until Adie mumbled tearfully, "He died, he's gone..." "I know honey, our Charlie is in heaven now..." It was good to let out all the suppressed emotions. Minutes and hours passed in which we sat together and cried and talked about him. "Have you eaten anything, Adie?" "No..." she muttered. "Okay, I'll get you something." "No..." "Don't disagree girl. You have to eat for yourself and for my little nephew or niece!!" I put my hand gently on her stomach, "I'm sure our little angel is hungry. Please eat something!!" Adie put her hand on mine. I was relieved to see that she was happy about the baby. In the beginning, I was afraid that she couldn't take it without Charlie... But she's a fighter!! I was still hurt about what happened two years ago. I can't forget the pain he was feeling because of Adie. But this was not the time to fight. She was pregnant, and I wanted her to be happy and healthy. We still will have to talk about the past... "How about some delicious pancakes and juice? I'll make some for you. You put your feet up and relax!!" I wiped the tears from her cheek and said "Everything is going to be alright, Adie. Don't worry, you two are not alone!! I'm always there for you and will not take my eyes off you. Otherwise, Charlie would kick my ass from heaven..." I said laughing. I went downstairs and nodded to Mike & Britt who were both sitting worried on the couch. "She will get better. She is a strong and independent woman. I know that she will fight for her baby with or without Billie..."
