I think I'll be able to update a little more now. This chapter came a lot easier than the last one. So I'll try to update my other books as well.

Nobody's POV

Jake, Storm and Luna walked out further. Though Jake linked Sarah to let her know they were gonna go farther out. Be careful Jake. This area doesn't belong to a pack officially. There could be rouges around, and we have to beware of the Blood Moon pack. She warned.

I know how to watch for another shifter, Sarah. Storm wanted to walk around. Maybe she's remembering something without realizing it. Jacob replied, though cut the link of so Storm didn't think something was wrong with him or tried talking to him and then think he was ignoring her or something.

They walked around for quite a while. Long enough it was starting to get darker. Storm looked around again, her vision not a well as Jacob's. "We should head back Jake. It's getting dark." She said, moving closer to him without thinking about it. Which made Jacob smile softly. She still trusted him to protect her, even if she didn't realize it.

"Yeah, sounds like a good idea." He replied. Storm seemed to stop and look around. Jacob noticing quickly. He was gonna ask what was wrong when he heard something. A low growl picking up. Luna whined softly, her form backing away a bit. Storm took a few steps back. "What's that?" She asked. Jacob growled softly himself.

I knew this was a bad idea. Jacob's wolf growled. Shut up for once, would you? Jacob replied. Storm took a step away from Jacob hearing him growl, making him stop. Before she could say anything, a brown wolf jumped out at them. Storm yelped, Jacob immediately jumping forward and shifting.

Storm gasped seeing the change. Jacob growled at the other wolf, baring his teeth and crouching in front of Storm. Which let Storm see it was still Jacob, as he seemed protective of her most of the time anyway. The brown wolf lunged at Jacob. The two growling.

Jacob bit the brown wolf's shoulder, earning a yelp reply. Trading blows for what felt like an hour. Both being tried and hurt, but neither giving up. Then Jacob noticed Storm was gone.

Storm's POV

I was back on the other side of the cliffs. Where the black and white wolf was. But I could see the two wolves fighting still. The brown wolf lunging at the other one again. Knocking burgundy wolf over. I whined softly. That was Jacob, and he needed help. I looked around, back to the forest. Then back to Jake and the brown wolf. They had changed into their wolves. Maybe I could get the black and white wolf to help.

That's why the wolf was sometimes alone. The person and wolf became one being. So maybe the black and white wolf was the same way. Maybe I could get them to change back and help Jacob. He was protecting me. I didn't want him getting hurt because of it.

I found my way back to the silver river before finding the black and white wolf again. Where was she? A rustling in the bushes drew my attention. The black and white wolf coming out slowly. Her ears flicked up as soon as she saw it was me.

I took a breath. "I don't really know of you understand me. But I need your help. Please." I started. The wolf flicked her ears towards me. I knew she was telling me to continue somehow. So she did understand me. "This- this other wolf jumped out. I- I think Jacob turned into his wolf to protect me. I don't know how that's possible, but it is. I made me think maybe you were the same way. Please, I don't want to lose Jacob. He means so much to me. Even if I can't remember everything about him." I continued.

The wolf whined as soon as I said Jacob's name. Her purple eyes meeting mine before she walked closer to me. The wolf nudged my hand with her nose. I lifted my hand slowly. Putting it on top of the wolf's head. A light flashing. A pair of growls coming close again.

No POV

A third growl drew Jacob's attention just long enough the brown wolf knocked him over again. The brown wolf whined, backing away from Jacob. Though they were looking behind him. Hold on... Harry muttered in the back of Jacob's head. Jacob got up turning around. His ears dropping. Standing in a cloud of mist was a black and white wolf with purple eyes. Sapphire. Harry whined. Sapphire? Like she's in control? Jacob thought.

I don't know. Harry replied. The wolf bared their teeth, moving forward. The mist seeming to follow them. Sapphire growling again her ears pinned back. Her purple eyes almost glowing.

The brown wolf whined, retreating before Sapphire grew too close. Though she still growled for a few moments after they left. Her ears flicking up before turning back to Jacob. Whining softly before fading away. The hell? Jacob and Harry thought at the same time.

Sapphire was just gone. And Storm wasn't anywhere in sight. Jacob whined looking around for her. He wasn't too badly hurt, but still bleeding a bit.

Jake, where are you? What happened? Sarah asked suddenly in the mind link. How'd you know something was wrong? I didn't link you. Jacob replied. Which sent confusion into the mind link. We got a linked message, well Eva did. And she told me. Sarah replied.

Eva got a linked message? A rouge attacked. I shifted but Storm disappeared... Something weird happened. Jacob replied. Sarah and Eva finding him after a few moments. They had started heading back when Cam and Hannah joined the mind link. What is it you two? Sarah asked.

You've gotta come back. A group of warriors found Storm near the lake. She was out cold. Cam started explaining. But there were no scents around besides Storm's. They can't figure out how she got there. Hannah added.

Jacob whined. Storm got all the way to the lake in that short amount of time? Hannah huffed. We're heading back now. Hannah, tell the Alpha and Luna that a rouge attacked and to keep patrols going in case there's another attack. Eva, Jake and I are gonna head to the pack hospital. We'll meet you there afterwards. Sarah explained.

They headed back, a little slowly so Jacob didn't risk hurting himself anymore. Though he was more worried about what could have happened to Storm. But, if Storm was by the lake... How was Sapphire on the others side of the forest with Jacob? That shouldn't have been possible. Especially since even Harry agreed Sapphire hadn't been connected to Storm anymore.

It took a little while to get back, but they got there. Sarah made Jacob get checked out by the pack doctor to see how much he been hurt.
