Storm's POV
Hannah stared at me for a few more moments. I sighed, looking at Sarah. She nodded once, stiffly. "Cam, you might want to keep her back a few more feet." I said, hoping the girl would be able to keep her mouth shut. She wouldn't say anything right? Cam was her mate, so she wouldn't want to do anything to hurt him.
"What do you mean? I can take care of myself, I'm not scared of a half-blood mutt!" Hannah growled. I bared my teeth slightly, trying not to shift right now. Careful Storm, we don't need Cam mad at us. Sapphire warned me. She just doesn't understand. I replied, more to myself then my wolf. Cam seemed to understand what was going on after a moment. "Hannah, please. You have to take a few steps back. It's for your own saftey." He pleaded. Hannah cast another glare at me, sighed, and took several steps back. That would be more that enough room. I took a breath and let my eyes close. A soft breeze picked up.
I felt my eyes change to purple as Sapphire peaked out. The familiar heat rolled down my spine, I let it engulf me and change me into something else. As soon as the heat was gone, I let me eyes open. Hannah had taken a few extra steps back. I huffed lightly. "S-she's a wolf?" Hannah asked. "Yes, Storm is a full blooded wolf. Her scent only appears to be that of a half-blood because she wasn't raised with her birth pack." Sarah explained.
I turned and went over to Eva, who had gotten out an extra pair of clothes for me. I loped over and changed back. Once I was back, I grabbed a baret and pulled my black hair into a ponytail.
So like this but dark blue and not brown.
Hannah was still watching me, but I could tell it was because I had heterochromia iridis, since my eyes were two different colors at the same time. I rolled my eyes, this was never going to go away. When people find out I'm nit a half-blood, they all stare. "So, that's why you used your commanding tone." Hannah rumored. Sarah shook her head. "Not really, this pack is closely knit together. I don't have to order them to do anything, unless they won't follow the first time.
Hannah nodded. "But don't call me Storm. Nobody in the Moon Pack knows I'm still alive, just my family. If anything, I'll go by 'Star'." I added quickly. Cam half smiled. "We should probably get going. I can hear more a patrol coming." He said. Cam was right. I could make out about three wolves coming this way. Hannah sighed. "Great, my brother decided to disobey the doctors orders... again." She growled.
Three wolves walked into the, already kind of crowed, clearing. One looked exactly like Hannah, maybe they were twins. The other two were clearly older, both sporting pitch black coats. The one who looked like Hannah, his left eye was dull. It wasn't the blank stare if he was in a mind link. He was half blind. I gasped softly, making the wolves look at me.
Sarah walked in front of me, putting her hands up. "I assume you are the Gamma, Delta and a warrior of the Moon Pack?" She asked. The blinded wolf huffed once, that was a yes. They all went back into the bushes. I sighed. Sarah turned to look at me. "What were you thinking?" She asked, clearly mad. I looked at the bushes. "He's blind, half blind. I thought a wolf who was half blind, or the full counterpart, was never allowed to be more then a warrior." I stated.
Hannah sighed. "That's technically true, but my brother makes up with speed and strength, where he lacks in sight," She explained. I nodded. Three guys came back from he bushes. The younger one looked almost exactly like Hannah, but if she was gender swapped.
"Hannah! what do you think you're doing? Talking to a bunch of random wolves... ugh, and a stinkin' half-blood." He said, clearly only adding the last part to make me mad. I half growled, much to the shock of the guys. The oldest sneared. "Looks like she's got some fire." He started, walking over to me. "I like that." He added, growling. His eyes was shifting colors, his wolf was trying to come out.
I bared my teeth, but the dude grabbed my wrist anyway. That's it, he's asked for this. I said in the pack link. Everyone in the Mist Pack stepped back, confusing everyone who didn't know how I'd been trained to fight in human form. I used my other hand to grab the guy's other arm and smirked at his confusion. The tree, which was... just over two yards away, made a very satisfying snap his his back hit it.
I growled. "NEVER touch me again!" I hissed. Nice Storm. Saph told me. You showed him girl! Eva told me. I half smiled. Hannah's brother growled and walked over. "Half-blood or not, you're going to pay of that." He growled. Hannah rolled her eyes.
"Geez, PJ. You KNOW how much of a creep Nino is. I don't know why you choose him as Gamma. He always tried to steal a she-wolf before they find their mates, if they're a half-blooded or not." She said. PJ growled again, raising his fist but he backed away.
I shot Hannah a thankful look. Hannah nodded. "You would think you would recognize the Mist Pack anyway." She added. PJ looked back at everyone. "THE Mist Pack? I thought there would be more of you, and no half-bloods." He said, clearly still mad. Well, let him be mad, that guy deserved it. Sarah walked over and stood in front of PJ. "We may be small, but this pack is one of the most skilled. Where we lack in numbers, we make up for in skill." She said, sounding quite proud.
Eva and Sam came forward to. "Star may be a half-blood, but she's one of our most skilled fighters." Sam added. Eva nodded. "She's just got a short fuse, I'd assume you would know about that yourself." She continued. PJ smirked. "Well, at least this pair can speak their minds. Let's head back to camp before night falls. The Alpha and Luna will be waiting to met you." He said with a small laugh. I caught Eva's eye for a second.
Her smile was reassuring. With that, PJ turned and sprinted off. I followed everyone else. The scents felt very... welcoming. I knew it was because this was my birth pack, of course I would feel comfortable here. Sarah and Eva threw me the same glances, pure energy and joy.
Sarah's smiled almost threw me off. Alpha's almost never let their real emotions show, they always hid them under a mask of determination and an ice-like cool. The camp didn't come into view until a small shift in the air occured. It was a protection spell. I'd felt it everytime I'd ended up at the old Moon Pack camp. The other pack members watched, as if they hadn't been told they were receiving help. I heard a lot of mutters break out when they caught my scent.
A half-blood? Why is THAT thing here? A voice said in my head. It was the Moon Pack mind link. I must have subconsciously linked into it. I cast a glare at the person who thought that. Ohh looks like she sensed you Tim. A second voice said tauntingly.
