They dragged me for so long that I just gave up trying to stop them. I wept until my throat was sore. They had ignored my pleas to just talk to Alpha Jace. He would know the truth. Every time I tried to say it one of the men would slap me or cut my arms.

It came to a point when I almost blacked out. I could barely hear what was being said. "John, why are you and the guards back so early? Why have you brought a pup? What have you done to it?" I felt it as they put me in someone else's arms. "She's a rouge, she was trying to hide in our territory." I could feel the motions as whoever was holding me ran.

I couldn't tell whether I was being took to a pack hospital or a jail compound. "John and his guards found and tortured her it looks like. I don't know where they found her. They said she's a rouge. I don't believe that, she's too young to be a rouge. I think she wandered off her territory and they found her. You know his brother was killed by rouges. That would explain why he thinks she's one." The voice sounded familiar, kind.

I could feel something being wrapped around my arm and side. It seemed like a long time before I tried to open my eyes. When I slowly opened them I closed them immediately. A blinding light was right above me. I turned to my side. "Your awake." The voice came out of nowhere. I sat up. A woman was at the foot of the bed.

"Be careful." She said. As she spoke, the woman walked around and placed her hand on my arm. I looked around the room. It looked like I was in a pack hospital. I turned my head to watch her. She hadn't moved. My arm was bandaged heavily. There was a small patch of red on it. "Can you tell me your name little one?" Her voice was sad. I watched her eyes.

"I am Luna Star. What is your name?" Her voice was stern but caring at the same time. I took a deep breath. "My name is Storm, and I want to go back to my pack." I tried to keep my voice from shaking. "I know you do dear, but I'm afraid you can't right now. You see the second in command, John, the man who brought you here, thinks you are a rouge. Your not though are you?" I shook my head.

My eyes closed as I brought my hand to my neck. Nothing was there. Opening my eyes again, I sat all the way up in the bed. I threw the cover aside and felt the bed. "What are you looking for my dear?" I looked at the lady, Luna Star, and back to the bed. "My necklace. I had it on before and now it's not. I need it." I looked at her helplessly.

She reached into her pocket. "You mean this?" She raised her hand and hanging from it was my charm. I reached for it. She put it back in her pocket. "When I went back to find a clue as to where your from I found this. It was on the ground. After I cleaned it, I realized something. I've seen this necklace. In a dream. How did you come by this?" Her story sounded true. I took a deep breath. I didn't know why I had to tell her these things.

"When I was born, I was told that, my father had made it. I never took it off. I need it. Please." I looked at her pleadingly. She smiled and handed me the necklace. Hey, are you ok? I take a short nap and when I wake up your in another packs hospital? What happened?

Sapphire was awake. Those two boys chased me into another packs territory. The guards for it found me and they thought I was a rouge. They dragged me and cut me. By the time we got to their camp I could barely keep my eyes open. Sapphire growled, she saw the lady. Calm down, I think she's nice. There was another soft growl and then silence. The lady was still watching me.

"Were you talking to your wolf little one?" She looked shocked. I nodded. "Tell me, how old are you?" Her voice was unreadable. "I'm almost fifteen." I knew that you should only start hearing your wolf on the day you turned sixteen and at seventeen you found your mate. My birthday was still two weeks away. I watched the lady.

She seemed to be talking through a mind link. I had trained myself to reconize when people were using a mind link. "Ok, darling. The alpha is coming. His name is Mark. You must refer to him as Alpha Mark. It's better to show respect when he comes in. You don't want him to think your not what you say you are." I nodded as the door opened. A tall man came in, I assumed he was Alpha Mark.

He watched me and then his eyes flickered to Star. I looked down and didn't make eye contact. "Look at me, pup." His voice was deep, he was using his alphas voice. I looked up and met his angry brown eyes. His hair was black and he wore simple blue jeans and a white T-shirt. "What is your name?" His voice didn't lessen.

"My name is Storm." I tried to not sound disrespectful, which is hard when you don't know what that sounds like. "Why did you intrude in my territory? What is your business here?" I swallowed.

"I didn't mean to come into your territory, Alpha Mark. You see, two boys from my pack were chasing me. They hate me. I was running from them. I tripped and fell down the hill. I heard footsteps so I climbed up a tree. I did not know I was in another packs territory." I looked at his short black hair, his eyes were too stern.

"My second commander says you were hiding from guards who were chasing you out of their territory, that you are a rouge. Is this true?" His voice was indifferent. I shook my head.

"No. Since from the time I could, I've been running and trying to avoid two boys in my pack that have always been cruel to me. It would have been impossible for me to run from two shifted guards, I would have been caught if they were in their wolf forms." Alpha Mark seemed to consider this. He nodded once and left the room.
