Storm's POV

I jumped hearing the voice. It wouldn't have been bad if there was someone with me that could talk. But the only person who was even close to me was the wolf. And it almost sounded like the voice was in my head.

She was looking to me now, her ears flicked towards me. I watched her for a moment. "Did... did you just talk?" I asked warily. The wolf barked at first.

Well, not in the sense you might be thinking of. The voice said again. It was actually inside my head. The voice came from somewhere near the back of my mind.

I yelped, backing away. Though, of course, I quickly met a tree branch and fell back into the forest floor. The wolf whined softly, her head tilting to the right. You still don't remember. The voice said softly.

I took a couple of breaths. She knew I didn't have my memory. "You're- You're what Eva said my wolf was... why didn't you say anything before?" I answered. The wolf whined a bit. The voice, it was her. It had to be.

We were separated by a spell. I couldn't connect to you until your memory came back. At least, until you were ready for the connection again. She answered in a gentle tone.

I shook my head. "But I don't have my memory back." I answered. The wolf grunted before walking over to where I was. She blew a breath through my hair before laying down next to me.

I paused before reaching over, running a hand through her fur. It was soft. Really soft. "So how do I get my memory back? Nothing has really worked... all I get are these weird, incomplete flashes of people talking and scenes." I asked.

We'll have to try having you relive certain moments. Ones that mean something. The answer came to be. Relive? How was that possible? Well, it had to be possible in some form.

"Alright, where do we start?" I answered. Might as well try. What harm could there be in it?

I whined feeling the stab of a knife. "You didn't say I'd feel anything after so many times." I accused. These memories were depressing. All they showed was that people hated me. The same two boys had always bothered me.

The wolf seemed to huff. It's hard to warn you about it when I didn't know myself. She answered. We'd been reliving different memories. But this was the first time I'd felt this one. I'd hadn't felt them before. I didn't even know how long it had been since I'd come to this place.

The scene shifted. It became something that was definitely new. This wasn't a memory. A light flashed and suddenly we were both in a new place. This place looked familiar. But there was snow everywhere now. The wolf whined a bit.

Her ears folded down. Something dosen't feel right. She said. I put a hand on her back gently. "Let's look around. There has to be something around here." I said carefully.

The wolf nodded a bit. Alright. She answered. We looked around for a bit. This was the place with the silver river. The wolf steered away from the river. I followed where she went. She laid down, and I sat next to her. "What's really with this river?" I asked after a bit.

The wolf whined a bit. It represents the blood of all of the wolf shifters. Silver hurts us. It's why we got separated. The spell was on a silver blade. She answered. I whined quietly, shifting to pet the wolf's head gently.

She moved to lay her head on my legs. Oddly, the weight wasn't really there. The action felt... comforting. I smiled a bit, sighing softly. The information was definitely bad. But something drew my attention back to the river. It wasn't like regular water. It seemed thicker.

I moved carefully to sit up, going to the side of the river. The wolf whined softly. What are you doing? She asked. I could feel her fur standing up, though she didn't yet get up. I just felt it. I leaned over, reaching a hand out. Once I touched the liquid, I pulled my hand back quickly. It burned.

The wolf sighed. I told you. She growled lightly. I sat back down, setting my hand on the grass. Even with the snow, I wasn't cold. Though I really should have been freezing.

The wolf whined, semi-crawling over to be by my side. I sighed, but carefully leaned against her side. She was prettu warm actually. A flash of light appeared on front of my eyes. It was like an image.

The wolf was laying in the shade, and someone was leaning against her side. It was Jacob. He seemed to laugh a bit. The image vanished. "So... Jacob was close to us?" I muttered softly.

The wolf lifted her head. Us? She asked. I looked to her, pausing. I didn't even think about saying 'us.' It just came out. I hummed quietly. "It just kind of came out like that... I guess it just felt- felt natural." I answered.

The wolf lifted her ears up. I could feel her tail wagging just a little bit. What could we do now? We both looked deeper into the forest. Like there was some kind of call. I whined softly. Multiple low growls were echoing to the location. Alright, that could not be good.

That's a fight. The wolf growled. "That's a big fight." I agreed. We stood up, barely looking around for the source of the sounds. I growled lowly, heading to the sounds.

The forest shifted to a clearing, though it was separated by a crevice. There were wolves jumping at each other, taking swipes at each other.

I could see the blood on the ground from various wounds. The snow made it easy to pick the tree color out. My eyes quickly scanned the area for anyone that looked familiar. Jacob's wolf stood out.

I whined softly, looking to the wolf. The wolf had a brown coat with greying fur. Something about that wolf seemed all too familiar.

Hey, watch where you're going. What's with you she-wolves? Don't you have a ceremony to go to? Have a mate to find? A harsh voice snarled in a flash of darkness.

Storm, the Blood moon pack is not a pack you want to mess around with. Their alpha is ruthless. Another said. This sounded like Cam.

You should have seen how fast Alpha Jace got him out of here once the visiting time was up. I didn't recognize this voice. Nor the name 'Alpha Jace.'

Alpha Johan would send his warriors to kill anyone that's not part of his pack before asking questions. He's the... 'think-first-ask-questions-later' kind of guy. This time the voice seemed to be either Sam or Cam.

Alpha Johan? Was he the wolf attacking Jacob now? I was brought back to the attack by a pain filled yelp. It was Eva. Another wolf had dug into her flank.

I growled. "I have to do something! I need to get back over there!" I hissed. The brown wolf knocked Jacob over, though he didn't stay down for long. My wolf growled softly. Jacob was hurt.

Something shifted. The gap seemed... Like it wasn't there. Not like it closed, but I felt like I could just walk over to the other side. I looked to the black and white wolf, then back to Jacob's fight.

I had to help him. He was was getting hurt. Something told me it was my fault. I took a few steps back before running at the gap.
