Sarah followed my glance down, I set the kitten down. There was no way I would have just left a kitten in the flames to die! I couldn't. "You ran into a fire, just to save a kitten? Your really a weird wolf Storm, but I think you know that." Her voice was joking.

I shrugged. The fire was dieing down. I turned and walked into the tree line. I kept walking until I found a small stream. I watched the water as it rolled over the stones. I could feel Sapphire peaking out. I let her out completely, I needed to think. Sapphire walked around slowly. I never really let her out. She was jumping at a lot of the small noises.

It was only a few minutes before she handed me control back. What's wrong Sapp? I asked her softly. I miss him. She said just as softly. I sighed. I know. I do too. But we can't disobey Alpha Jace. But it's not like we're not going to see him again. I tried to sound confident but it wasn't working all that well. It seems so far away. She said. I sighed again and nodded. It could have been to another pack that would have treated us like an Omega, at least being here let's us learn some new things. They said they train the other packs. We might learn some new fighting techniques. She whined not responding. I went back to watching the fish swim in the water.

I found a flat enough rock and crouched down closer to the water. I leaned forward. One of the fish looked different. A felt a hand on my shoulder and fell into the water. "Hey!" I said a little to loudly. There was a very loud laugh in response. "You should see your face right now. It's price less." The person said. I growled. It was Sam, the person who had shoved me in the first place. Sam held his hand out, I grabbed it. Smiling, I pulled him down and into the water. "That's payback." I said getting up.

I heard his fake growl. "I only followed you to make sure you weren't going to try anything." His voice became hard. I gave a hard laugh. "Yea sure, like I know my way back. My whole life, I almost never left my packs camp." I turned and walked away from the river. The fire was out, when I found my way back to it that is. There was already a couple tents set up. Somehow a grill and a cooler had been hiding somewhere.

I could smell the hamburgers on the grill. Sarah looked up from her phone and got up to meet me. "What happened? Wait, don't tell me. Sam?" She said. I could tell she was suppressing a laugh. "Yea, she got me back though." Sam said coming from behind me. Sarah couldn't take it. She started laughing hysterically. Eve and Cam looked to see where the laughing was coming from, once they saw the two soaking wet people, they starting laughing too. I rolled my eyes.

My eyes scanned the clearing for my bag. I found it on top of a lawn chair. I walked over to it. My bag was open. I growled low seeing that some of my clothes were gone. I zipped up the bag and turned, right into Cam. I took a step back. "Hey, sorry about your things. We had to make sure you didn't have any weapons." He handed me my shirts, with two of the pairs of underwear I had brought. I blushed, trying to hide it I half yelled.

"What is wrong with you? Don't you know what privacy is?" I turned, stuffed the clothes in the bag, and ran back into the woods. I ran until I passed a tree that had a knot and I practically threw the bag into it. I shifted and left my clothes next to the tree. I ran again and when I got back to the river, I jumped over it. My hind legs splashed into the river but I kept going. Storm, slow down. Sapphire said. I growled, not to her, but to Cam. He f*cking went through my CLOTHES! What the hell is wrong with him! I shouted to her.

I ran for another two miles until I finally started to slow down. When I had stopped completely, I heard the sound of someone following. I could feel that someone was trying to reach me. I kept blocking them. Instead I turned and waited for them. I looked around the area in was in, it was slightly dark. I let out a huff and opened the mind link. "Storm! Where the hell did you go?" A voice said.

"Well Cam DID take her stuff." And voice said. "Hey! I was checking-" Someone started. -checking what Cam? Her panty size?" Another voice said. I growled. "GUYS! EVERYONE JUST, STOP TALKING! Storm, stay where you are. We'll meet you there." The voice must have been Sarah. The second one might have been Eve. I knew both Cam and Sam's voices well enough already. I could hear the sound of four different people coming, all from the way I had.

The connection stayed open but there weren't very many words passing through anymore, just a silent shock when everyone met up. They didn't even have to say anything their emotions spoke for them selves. !!!!!! I growled in warning. "Storm?" Sarah said slowly. Her voice was filled of shock but concern. I nodded once, standing up. "It's me." I thought to them. I waited for questions but no one seemed to want to ask them.

I sighed. "Go ahead. Ask." Sometimes there was nothing you could do but wait it out. "That's your natural coat color?" Someone said slowly. I nodded. "How is that possible?" Someone else said. I shrugged. "I'm not so sure about it myself. I know my father had a black coat. My mother was a white wolf. But my brother has a pure black coat." I said as calmly as I could.

This kept going for the next half an hour or so. I had to tell them about Jacob, and my attempt at finding him when I wasn't susposed to leave the pack house. I had ended up telling them almost everything. I didn't want to share every single thing but their questions had probed new answered and some explanations. The whole time I just referred to him as "my mate". I never said his name once.
