A not so needed talk

When Katy led me outside of the pack hospital, everything seemed normal until someone spotted us.  They whispered something to the person next to them.  I saw as their eyes glazed over slightly as it was spread throughout the pack link.

Look, they found Storm.  One voice said. Wonder where she was.  Another voice asked.  Probably hidding in some hole from how she looks.  None of them must have known I could hear them.  The third voice was familiar enough.

I saw Eric and Evan watching us with very different expressions.  Evans eyes look simpathic.  Eric's looks furious.  As Katy walk, more or less dragged, me closer to them.  Evan took a step forward.  "Well?  What do you two have to say for yourselves?  Your punishment will be over if you apologize and if you mean it."  Katy sounded like Alpha Jace.  Eric's furry spiked.

"I'm not apologizing to her!  She's a weak runt!  Let's go Evan."  Eric had walked a few feet before he realized Evan wasn't following him.  "Evan, let's go."  His voice was so worn out.  "No, Eric.  I'm tired of this."  Evan turned to face me and Katy.  He bent down slightly and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Sorry, Storm.  I really am.  It won't happen again."  His voice was sincere.  I half smiled.  Eric came up behind Evan and kicked his leg out from under him.  Evan stumbled.  I looked to Eric and growled at him.  Eric stuck his tounge out and ran.  I heard as he shifted.  Evan stood up and took the dirt off his pant leg.  Katy looked down at me.

"Well, Storm do you forgive Evan?"  Her voice was kind hearted.  Evan watched me with worried eyes.  I pretended to think about it by looked at the trees.  After a few minutes, I looked back to Katy and nodded.  Evan let out a sigh of relief.  "Ok, Evan I'll tell Alpha Jace that he can relive you of kitchen duty.  Eric will just have to deal with it on his own now.  You can leave."  Evan nodded once and turned to walk away.

Katy took a step to the side.  "Well, Storm.  That was kind of you.  But I have a feeling he won't bother you anymore."  Her smile was so full of life.  "I just hope Eric stays away from me."  I whispered a bit to loud.  Katy laughed slightly.  "Ok, let's see if there anything left of breakfast.  You must be hungry."  I followed Katy to the pack house.  Until she mentioned it, I wasn't really aware of how much my stomach was begging for food.

Now that the thought was brought to the front of my mind, my stomach growled.  Well, it could be worse.  I thought to myself.  Yes I guess, but I don't under stand why you forgave that boy so easily.  I know I wouldn't have.  Sapphire growled.  I know Sapphire but I heard how sincere he sounded.  I'm not a monster.  I won't hold a grudge to someone if they mean their apology.  There was a grumble in response of agreement.

Once we neared the kitchen, I smelled a ton of bacon and eggs.  There were two omegas in there getting ready to clean everything up.  Once they spotted Katy and me in the doorway they stopped and smiled.

Riley left the room and came back with what looked like a couple dozen cartons of scrambled eggs.  The smell came seconds later, I could scent the salt from the doorway.  Riley had introduced herself to me the one time I had tried to find something to eat.  I had came down late and almost all the food from breakfast was gone.  Riley, noticing I hadn't shown up, had saved my a plate of bacon and eggs.

I smiled at who I concidered my friend and sat in one of the chairs.  The eggs were nice and warm.  Soon the eggs were gone.  I picked up my plate and brought it into the kitchen.  I knew how to wash dishes and clean enough.  I wasn't a messy pack member.

The other omega watched me with wide eyes.  I could tell that he had never saw some one clean their own plate before, or without making more of a mess.  I was aware of the eyes on my back the whole time.   I put the plate away after I dried it and walked past the two watching me in the doorway.

I didn't give Katy a second look as I marched past her and out the door.  I found my old room and saw that all my stuff was still there.  Good.  That means it's still my own room.  Nobody had bothered to move anything.  My books were still scattered from when I threw them down in a fit of rage.

The only thing that had changed was that my dressers were now neatly folded and the clothes in there rightful spots.  I grabbed my black cap and took it out of the drawer.  I ran my hands through my hair and pulled the cap on.  Now that I had phased, if nobody knew, I would need to move to the second floor.  If Alpha Jace did tell anyone then I wouldn't have to move floors.

I would need to ask Alpha Jace to not tell anyone yet.  I wasn't sure if he had already but I hoped he didn't.  Why don't you want anyone to know?  What's the worst thing that could happen?  Sapphire thought.  Think about it Sapphire.  I was bullied before because I wouldn't talk or try to even defend myself.  What do you think would happen if they found out about how we look as a wolf?  It wouldn't stop, it would get much worse.  That's what I'm scared of.  Sapphire whined.

I hoped that she wouldn't say anything else.  I just don't want to think about what might happen.  I tried to make my thoughts sound nicer that usual.  I knew that Alpha Jace and Luna Skys room was on the forth floor of the pack house.  I had never gone above the first floor.

I knew that the stairs would lead all the way up but I wasn't sure if anyone was up there.  I opened the door slowly and peered out into the hall.  No one was there and I couldn't scent or hear anyone on the second floor.  I snuck to the stairs and started up them.

I wished silently that I wasn't to late and nobody had been told.  I knew the people that had saw my coat.  Katy, Ash, Alpha Jace, the pack doctor, two or three of the guards, Eric and Evan.  I hoped that none of them told anyone.  I paused as I got to the third floor.  A door slammed closed.  Someone was mad.  I continued to the forth floor.
