Storm's POV (This will probably be the last of her's for a few chapters. I wanna try a different POV)

The wolf didn't react when I turned to face her. Nor did she move when I raised my hand slightly. The wolf watched me carefully. It was like this wolf had real human emotions.

I reached up to touch the wolf's muzzle. Then everything went black again. That was twice this has happened. The first time, I woke up in that forest. There was a steady beeping sound. I opened my eyes slowly, groaning softly at the light positioned almost directly above me. Wait, where was I? I was just in the forest. Where was this place.

"You're awake!" A voice said suddenly. Awake? My vision cleared enough to let me see who it was. Strange. He looked exactly like the guy I saw on the other side of that canyon. He looked so happy I was awake. But why? Who was he? Ugh, geez. My head was aching.

"How do you feel?" The guy asked. I didn't answer. I didn't even know this guy. Then I realized there was an IV drip on my arm. I was in a hospital? I felt bad for this guy. I was supposed to know him: I could feel it. Something about him felt... Familiar. I didn't know why, but I knew I could trust him.

"Who are you?"

Jacob's POV

I'd already expected her to not recognize me. But it still hit me like a blow to the chest. She really didn't remember anything. "Can you remember anything? Anything at all?" I asked. Storm closed her eyes for a few moments. "I know I'm 16, and my birthday is the 14th of December... someone named Nightfury... And Hannah?" She said softly.

She remembers her brother, that's a good thing at least. Hannah? Hannah was new to the Mist pack. Cam's mate. Why would she remember her? I nodded slowly. "Do you remember your name?" I asked. Storm shook her head slowly. This was going to be hard if she only remembered her brother and Hannah, but not her own name.

"Your name's Storm.  You're actually 17." I told her. She nodded. I stood up, intending to tell the doctor she was awake. "Wait, don't leave me alone. I don't remember anything." Storm said quickly. I smiled softly. She still felt our bond, even if she didn't know what it was anymore. "I won't go far. You're in a hospital. I'm just going to get the doctor." I assured her.

"Can you tell me your name?" She asked. "Jacob. You can call me Jacob or Jake." I told her before leaving. Eva, Cam, Hannah, Sarah and Sam were all outside. Sarah looked up. "You were talking." She stated blankly. I nodded. "She woke up." I started. They all got up. I half growled. "Hold up." I said, taking a breath.

"She doesn't remember anything. Just her brother, and you." I continued, looking at Hannah. She seemed the most surprised out of anything. "Where's the doctor now?" I asked. Eva left to find him. "Why me? Why not Eva, or Ash?" Hannah asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. But I think you and Nightfury should be the ones to help her remember. She won't be comfortable around anyone else until she does." I half asked. Hannah nodded. Cameron put his hand on her shoulder. "We'll figure this out." He assured her.

Eva came back with the doctor a few minutes later. He asked briefly if she said she remembered anything. I told him. "I suggest someone finds the Alpha and Luna to let them know. Being her brother with." He told everyone. I started to leave. "Not you Jacob." The doctor said. "Even if Storm doesn't remember anything, the mating bond is still there. She won't understand what it is, I would suggest not explaining that to her yet. But she'll still find your presence calming. That's what we need as she's introduced back to everything: for her to remain as calm as possible." He said.

So we waited for Sarah to come back with Nightfury and Storm's parents. Her mother was so close to crying. A powerful Luna: was about to break down crying. Of course, Alpha Logan was trying to keep her calm. The doctor had run a few tests. Storm appeared to still be able to convey full emotions. So that should help us in the end. He suggested Nightfury and Hannah being the ones to take Storm through everything slowly. That they should start with the ones she was close to before our world.

Once everyone was clear on what to do: Nighfury, Hannah and I went back into the room Storm was in. She had sat up completely, her back to the wall. Her eyes were confused, but they held some recognition in them. Nightfury half smiled. "Hey, Storm. I know you don't remember much right now. But we're gonna help you as much as we can." He assured her in a gentle voice.

Storm half nodded. "N-nightfury?" She asked quietly. He nodded. "Yeah. Hannah's here too." Her brother replied. Storm looked at Hannah before her eyes met mine. She half smiled. "The doctor just wants us to make sure you get settled back in before we try a few different things to help you remember." Hannah said. Storm took a breath. "O-okay... How many people did I forget?" She asked. We exchanged a look. "It's probably better if we try getting you settled before you see everyone else again." Nightfury said. Everyone had left already, though I knew Storm's parents hadn't wanted to.

We had to wait for Hannah to get Storm a pair of clothes to change into. She came out in a blue t-shirt and black jean-leggings.  I smiled lightly.  Okay, what do we do first?  I asked Nightfury in a mindlink.  I guess the forest?  Maybe it'll trigger something we can use.  Like if she remembers Sarah or our parents.  He suggested.  Hannah nodded slightly.  Good, she was in our link too.

Storm looked a little confused.  "Can we leave?  I don't like this place..."  She asked softly.  Wait, she didn't like hospitals?  Maybe that was just her impression from her memory loss.
