Storm's POV

The pack was gathering by, what must have been, the pack house. I saw my family right away, standing on the porch. Nightfury half smiled, his eyes were sad despite the expression. He would still be mourning over his mate. I needed to find a way to help him get through this, but without letting anyone else in the Moon Pack know I knew. This might be harder than I'd originally thought. I saw my mother hiding her joy under a worried smile. I made myself look down, showing the respect you would to any alpha.

The murmurs stopped as my father held his hand up, the stories were right about the discipline of the Moon Pack. Sarah stepped forward. "Alpha Logan." She said. My father nodded. "Alpha Sarah, of the Mist Pack. Thank you for agreeing to help." He said. Sarah nodded. "Alpha Logan. It's both my and my packs honour to assist such a great pack." She said. My father nodded. Hannah stepped forward. He brother stopped her. They muttered something in the pack link. "Why don't we learn the rest of the Mist Pack?" My father said. Sarah nodded.

"This is Cameron, Eva, Sam and Star." Sarah said. Each of us took a step forward and nodded towards the alpha pair. My father had the alpha's mask on, to keep his real emotions hidden and have the illusion of complete control. "It's a pleasure to meet each and everyone of you. Please, allow us to show you where you'll be staying during your visit." My father said. Sarah nodded. We followed my parents to the top level of the pack house. Everyone was given a room, but Sarah had everyone wait so she could call a meeting.

Of course, Hannah was going to be the topic of the meeting. I wasn't very surprised when I saw her standing next to Cam. Sarah led us into a room, how she knew nobody was using this became obvious right away. My mother, fatheer and brother were already inside. I took a few step towards them when the door closed. My mother pulled me into a hug. "My little girl." She whispered.

I hugged her back lightly. "I mised you so much." My mother added. "It's okay mom, I'm here." I said in a soothing voice. My mother pulled back. The same thing happened with my father, but he said "Good to see you kiddo," instead. When I was let go again, I looked at Nightfury. His eyes were shimmering.

Nightfury was older than me, by a little bit at least. But he looked like he was about to break down right then and there. He was still missing his unknown mate. I hugged him lightly, not sure if he was ready to see me yet. I could tell Hannah knew why my brother was crying. "Hey, it'll be okay Nightfury. The Moon Goddess might give you a second chance mate. You don't need to cry." I whispered to him.

There were a few cases where a wolf shifter lost their mate, but found another one through the same thing as their first. The Moon Goddess gave them a second chance mate if she thought they deserved a secong go. Nightfury nodded against my shirt. He was crying, trying not to since he knew how many shifters were in here with us. I patted his hair gently. He pulled back after a few more awkward minutes. I stepped back to stand next to Eva again.

Sarah took a step forward. This was a meeting, not a reunion.

"Its come to my attention that one of my pack members has found their mate in the Mist Pack." My father started. Sarah nodded, Cam stepped forward. Hannah did too. "As the alpha of the Moon Pack, I peacefully allow Hannah Sawyer to join the Mist Pack with her rightful mate Cameron Blake." The alpha decleared. Sarah took a breath. "As the Alpha of the Mist Pack, I recognize Hannah as a member and allow her into our ranks as Cameron's mate and a full warrior." She said.

I followed Eva's lead and lowered my head. This wasn't a full ceremony, just a transfer.

That had been the point of the meeting. Hopefully Hannah's brother wouldn't try anything when he found out. Some brothers get really over protective of their younger siblings, even if they're a boy. We were brought back to our rooms. I was with Sarah, Eva and Sam had a room, and Cam got a room with Hannah. Ugh, they better not do anything. Then nobody will be able to sleep at all.

The room Sarah and I were in was the suite all pack houses had for an visiting Alpha and their mate, so their was only one bed. I suggested sleeping on the floor so Sarah would feel more comfortable. It was actually pretty easy to sleep like that. Sarah had to wake me up, because I was occasionally a heavy sleeper.

Once everyone was up, Cam and Hannah had just gone to sleep after all, we met up with the Moon Pack warriors after a short breakfast. My parents had already told them why we were here. We started with Sarah testing all of us with a run. It was the same type of obstacle course we ran all the time. It would be fun since I wasn't allow to shift to do it. Those reactions are going to be priceless!

Once Sarah got back, Cam ran to set another trail. The warriors understood the rules. Hannah's brother scoffed when he found out I was running too. You'll show him Storm. Sapphire told me. I half smiled. I know. His face is going to be interesting to see. I said back. It took a while for the first Moon Pack warrior to get back, and he was exhausted. I couldn't help but laugh a little. I could easily beat that time without actually running.

The sun was going down by the time PJ was up. He got the fastest time by half a minute. Well, he was swift, I'll give him that one. Now it was my turn. "Okay Star, you're up." Sarah said. I nodded, slipping on a black jacket. Knowing Sarah, she took a turn through the river. PJ joked about me 'having the slowest speed of everyone'. I half growled softly, waiting for Sarah to let me go. Once she did, I bet PJ had a shocked face.

I had used a bit of my real speed just to confused him. I ducked over a low branch. Bet he looked shocked. Sapphire howled. I nodded. I bet he did. I replied. As I thought, Sarah made a path that zigged right through the river. The river posed a small problem, but it waz eazy to see what Sarah did. She had leapt over the river all of the times, but one.

Jumping the river was easy enough. It was not falling after getting out that was the worst part. I let myself slow down to make it look like it was hard. As I got back, it was clear that bets had been made. The Mist Pack was laughing at the looks of the Moon Pack warriors. The looks were amazing. PJ looked astounded. "And Star broke her own record. Sliding easily onto first place." Sarah announced.
