A Surprise Note

I didn't want to create unnecessary drama at Johnny's wedding so I took a deep breath and put on my charming smile. Luckily their venue was somewhere private, a beach resort in Malibu. Paparazzi were nowhere in sight being that there was 3 artist in the room. I got to thank Maria again for tipping the paparazzi off that I was going to be at some bar in downtown Los Angeles.

I waved at some fans that yelled my name and then spotted Rhett. I grabbed his arm and pulled him to the side. "My ex-manager sent some flowers to my room and I think Beau wanted to talk. He found a card that said that I should meet her tonight, which is not true," my words almost choked at my frustration but I needed to tell someone and Rhett is someone I trusted. "I need you to believe me."

"Of course I believe you. The way you look at Beau is beautiful, man. I don't think you'll break his heart, maybe she's trying to break you up?"

"She doesn't even know I'm with him. It's typical of Kya trying to manipulate me into being with her. I did it once. I'm not doing it again. My life is Beau but first I need you to talk to him, please. Convince him that I wouldn't do that. He listens to you. You're his new best friend," I smirked at him. I know Rhett has feelings for Beau but he set them aside. I hope he finds someone as I did.

"I'll try my best but you need to do something special, like big," his eyes sparked an idea.

"I was planning to sing a song to him tonight but I don't think it the best idea to take someone else's thunder."

"Hmm yeah, it's someone else's wedding, man. Maybe sing a song that relates to the couple but also you and Beau but what I really have in mind is you telling the world you're with Beau at the first concert of your tour," his words made me almost jump but I held it in.

"That's perfect and that should tell him that he means the world to me. I don't care what anyone says. I'm not losing Beau to a fling that I had a couple of years ago. Also please get Beau away from Murdock. He knows Kya, they work together, maybe it was him that planted those flowers in my room," I glanced at the table Beau and Murdock were sitting. Beau was laughing again but Johnny and his husband were sitting with them.

"I'll try but that guy doesn't give me a bad vibe. He hasn't touched Beau at all, they just seem to have a good time," he glanced at me with reassuring eyes. "Look. Zeus. Stop being a jealous boyfriend and go and perform this song for the grooms. Beau isn't going to cheat on you. He loves you," he tapped my shoulder and walked towards Beau's table. I saw Beau glance at me, his eyes shot me a painful gaze then he turned to Murdock.

I walked to the stage as the guest started to walk to their designated tables. It was a beautiful setup, with white rose bouquets put in the middle of each table. An exquisite white wedding arch was put for the groom's table as white flowers delicately decorated the arch. The white china that glistened from every table and the crystal clear champagne flutes that gleamed with brightness. The setup was outside the resort as the night sky slowly appeared.
