I slowly flickered my eyes, the sun beamed into the room with little orbs of dancing lights. I was extremely comfortable and a little too warm but then I heard a peaceful snore. I glanced down at my chest and saw Beau's face buried in it. It reminded me of that one time it was freezing in my room. I told him to join me and that's when I felt closer to him. I knew he was gay and I didn't give one fuck who he was or who made fun of him. I always had his back. He was my best friend and I had to protect him from all these bullies in high school.
I remembered the first time I met him. I had barely moved into town and didn't have friends. I was a loner in my old high school so it was nothing different in this new school, Mount Olympus High School. It was sophomore year and I ran late into one of my classes. I overslept; my parents were crazy moving everything around the house. They got a job offer as news anchors, they were well known in New York but they got better salaries here in California.
*SOPHOMORE YEAR*
I ran into my English class and the teacher glared at me. Mrs. Wrath, her name lived up to how strict she was. "Young man, you are late so that means double homework for you," she was a pudgy teacher with short hair and thick eyebrows. She adjusted her glasses and waited for me to say something.
"Sorry, ma'am. I just moved here and I overslept," I heard the class giggle.
"It's Mrs. Wrath and I don't care for excuses. Find a seat and come to me after class so I could assign you extra bookwork," she hissed and I glanced at the class. She didn't even bother asking for my name. Geez, that was a warm welcome. I scanned the class and found a seat in the back, there he was hiding behind a book. He had an X-men shirt on, messy dark blonde hair, and crystal blue eyes. He studied me while his cheeks got a rosy red.
He had a genuine and sweet appearance, a bit of acne on his face but I sensed he was a loner just like me. I glanced at the seat next to him and gave him a simple smile. I saw some students turn back and giggle. Man, this school is intense then I saw her. Blonde silky hair, silky porcelain skin, and a face of a goddess. "Her name is Madeleine," the kid next to me said. I quickly turned as my cheeks burned.
