POTTISMAIN.

The name does carry a certain mysterious air to it, I'm not sure if there's actually a town that goes by this name but if there's not then, I must say that it just fits perfectly well to frame the horrors of your story. The dark silhouette of a man standing by the lamppost is a good choice for your book cover however, the font making up the title just kills it. I would suggest that try to experiment with new fonts, ones that could actually highlight the name of your book as thrilling as it truly is.

Personally, I am very contented with the writing style, the beauty with which the certain elements of the story have been described, really sent shivers down my spine. The darkly captivating, deeply engaging and eerily cold atmosphere at the hospital as well as outside had been beautifully maintained throughout the story. Honestly, between the first few chapters I had been having difficulty in grasping the story with the changes in the scenes every while. I mean I couldn't quite understand what part of it was the dream and which one was the reality or the past that your protagonist keeps slipping into.

A dream within a dream.

I have never been through any book that even remotely whisks by this idea the closest that I had gotten to something like this was a movie called Inception. And let me tell you that was one hell of a complicated plot that most of us still can't wrap our heads around. Anyways, this is not to say that your plot is complex. It's just the way that you have framed the scenes that dance about the past and the present makes it a bit challenging to figure it all out. But then; I guess maybe that's the beauty of it!

This being a first point of view story, I am truly impressed by the amount of emotional aspects that you've laid out so openly. Not all the writers have the ability to draw in the readers into the minds of their characters but you've done a good job at that. Throughout the story, we get to live through the horrors of James, who is not only trapped in a hospital full of dark and evil beings but is also caged inside his own mind as he comes to experience the horrors of his past. We get to experience his journey as he stumbles back and forth on his road to self acceptance and fighting off the darkness that resides in his soul.

Personally, I absolutely love how uniquely crafted your storyline is. I understand that getting recognized on a wide platform such as this could be difficult but do keep writing such stories. I know that it takes time but it'll be all worth it!
