Chapter 2: Dream

Soon the school day ended. Dream and George got to know each other a lot.

Dream told George that he had three siblings and that he plays Minecraft. He didn't tell him about his parents or his sexuality yet. He wasn't sure if George would want to talk to him if he told him about either of those. He didn't want George to stop talking to him.

George told him that he moved to Florida 4 years ago. He didn't mention the reason and Dream didn't ask him. He also talked about his colorblindness. He was hesitant at first because he got bullied once since he couldn't see colors.

In the present moment, George, Dream, Karl and Sapnap were standing in the school parking lot waiting for George's mum to pick him up. They were talking about random things until George's mum's car stops near them. George said his goodbye and leaped to the car. His friends said goodbye and waved at him. He waved back and got in the car. He buckled up and his mum started reversing out of the parking lot.

"Hey Georgie! How was your day honey?" His mum asked happily.

"It was great mum! I made a new friend! His name is Dream. He joined today." George exclaimed.

"That's great! Is Dream his birthname?" His mother asked.

"No. I don't actually know his birthname and I didn't wanna ask because that's a bit rude. He said he didn't like his birthname and prefers to be called Dream." George explained.

"Oh! I'm proud of you for respecting others Georgie! Guess I raised you well." She said smiling.

"You did mum! You're the best. I love you!" George said cheerfully. After a minute they reached home. George went upstairs to put his bag and change. He came downstairs and sat next to his mum on the couch.

"Mum can I... tell you... something?" George asked slowly.

"Sure honey. What is it? Is something wrong? Are you okay?" She asked concerned.

"I-Uh... I-I think I like Dream." George said, his voice low. His mum smiled.

"So you found your 'Dream' boy huh?" She giggled. "I'm hapoy for you George." She hugged George. He hugged back.

"I don't even know if he's into guys but he's just so... handsome it was impossible to not like him." George mumbled into his mum's shoulder. She giggled and ran her hand through George's hair before pulling away from the hug.

"How about you invite Dream to dinner tomorrow? You can get to know him and I can too! I want to see my son's choice!" She said. They both laughed slightly.

"I'll ask him at school tomorrow. Thank you mum." George smiled. His mum smiled and nodded slightly before getting up from the couch to make dinner. George helped her. They ate together and George insisted on doing the dishes. He liked to help his mum. They both said their good-nights and went to their rooms. George finished his homework before going to bed.

I'm sorry for short chapters but I can't write long chapters. They're just not my thing. I'll try to make my chapters a little longer. Atleast a thousand words. Bare with me for a few days.
