Chapter 47: Birthday Celebration

It was 6 a.m. in the morning. Dream was awake already. George was curled up by his side. Dream admired the birthday boy that slept peacefully.

"Good morning baby, happy birthday." Dream whispered. He didn't want to wake George up just yet to make up for waking him up at midnight.

In the meantime, Dream looked up places he could take George to celebrate the day. He decided to select a carnival not very far away from their home.

It was an hour later when Dream woke George up. George sat there on Dream's lap as he tried to wake up fully. After a while George looked up at Dream and smiled.

"Its my birthday!" He said. Dream giggled.

"Happy birthday!" Dream said giggling. George joined him. They got up and Dream took George out of the room and to Karl's kitchen.

"Good morning guys! Happy birthday Gogy!" Karl exclaimed. He is was too energetic for someone who just woke up. But then again, this is Karl we're talking about.

"Thank you." George muttered and hugged him. Sapnap and Quackity soon joined them in the kitchen.

"Come on let's have breakfast. I made you guys pancakes!" Karl said and served everyone two pancakes each. They had breakfast and Dream and George left to go back home. They exchanged goodbyes and left.

"What do you wanna do today George?" Dream asked while they were walking to their home.

"Spend time with you guys." George smiled. Soon they got home and Dream knocked on the door. Mrs Davidson opened the door and hugged George.

"Happy birthday sweetie!" She said. "You're an adult now."

"Thank you mum." George said as he hugged back. They let go of each other and George entered the house only to immediately get tackled into a hug by Drista and Chris. He would've been on the floor if Dream didn't hold him from behind.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE!!!" Chris and Drista yelled in unison.

"Thanks guys." George chuckled. He released himself from their grasp and finally entered properly.

"Happy birthday George! Have a great future ahead." Clara said and gave him a chocolate bar.

"Thanks Clara. Thank you everyone. You guys mean the world to me." George said. His mum kissed George's forehead.

"I'll go make you guys lunch. You can go upstairs if you want." Mrs Davidson said. George went upstairs but Dream decided to help downstairs.

Now George was in his and Dream's bedroom wondering how he could utilize time. He decided to go look for Patches when his phone pinged. It was a message from Wilbur.

Happy birthday George!
Have a great day mate!

George smiled on that message and replied.

George smiled and blushed. He decided to send a smile in reply and end the conversation. Then he thought about messaging his twin sister Emily.

Emily and George were twins. They were really close as kids but since George came out as gay, Emily's behaviour towards him changed. She hated him now. But George still loved her even though she was really rude to him.
