Dream stepped inside and George closed the door. He led Dream inside.

"MUM! DREAM'S HERE!" George said loudly. His mum came from the kitchen.

"Hi Dream! It's nice to meet you!" She said.

"It's nice to meet you too ma'am." Dream said respectfully.

"No need to be so formal honey. You can call me Mrs. Davidson." She told Dream. "Dinner isn't ready yet. Why don't you guys go upstairs and hang out there?"

"Yeah mum I was thinking about that too!" George said and led Dream upstairs to his bedroom. Dream couldn't help but wonder if his relationship with his mother was as good as this.

They entered George's bedroom, George sat on the chair beside his desk and Dream sat on the edge of the bed.

"You're really close to your mom." Dream said with a smile after a few seconds of silence.

"Yeah. She can give up the world for me. I love her." George said.

"She does seem like a humble and sweet woman." Dream complimented.

"She is! She... saved me from my dad..." George said slowly and softly. Dream wondered what George's father did. For a moment he thought back to what his own dad does to him and his siblings.

"What do you mean by 'saved'?" Dream asked curiously but cautiously. George sighed and looked down. Dream thought he overstepped a boundary. "I'm sorry I- you don't have to answer that." Dream said.

"No no I just... I do trust you Dream and I want to tell you but it's hard to say it." George said in a low voice. Barely above a whisper. His eyes still connected to the floor.

"Hey it's okay I'm not gonna judge you. Come sit here." Dream comforted George and patted the bed next to him.

George slowly got up still looking at the floor and sat down next to Dream. They had some space between them but their knees still brushed against each other. George fiddled with his hands and looked up at Dream.

"I-I'm gay." George said quietly and closed his eyes waiting for Dream to say something. All his mind could think of were negative outcomes. He wondered if he would get to talk to Dream even again. If Dream would even wanna see his face ag-

"I'm pansexual." Dream said. A soft smile tugged at his lips. George opened his eyes to look at Dream.

"So you don't hate me?" George asked sheepishly. Dream shook his head.

"Absolutely not George. Why would I, or anyone, hate you just because of who you are?" Dream said and put a comforting hand on George's shoulder.

"Ask my dad. He does." George mumbled. "He hit me once and was rude to me since I came out to him." And with that tears flooded George's eyes at the memory. He started crying.

"It's okay Georgie. Not everyone is like that." Dream said and pulled George in a hug. George clung onto Dream's shirt and cried into his shoulder for a while. Dream rubbed circles on George's back.

"I-I know. Ever since I moved to America people have been supportive of me. But I never got support from my father. That was the only thing I needed. Karl's parents support him. Same with Sapnap... Are your parents supportive Dream?" George said. His words were muffled by Dream's shoulder.

"I haven't came out to them." Dream stated. George pulled away from the hug finally and looked at him. Dream put on a small smile and ran a hand through George's hair. Then he wiped the tears from George's cheeks.

"Oh... Are they homophobic Dream?" George asked.

"I think so. They are like your dad. I'd say even worse. They hurt me and my siblings." Dream said as he pushed the sleeve of his shirt up to reveal a bruise. Tears formed in his eyes but he blinked them away.

"Oh my god. Are you guys even okay there? You and your siblings can come here whenever alright? Where are they right now? Are they at..." George trailed off. He was genuinely concerned.

"Don't worry they're at Sapnap's. It's the only place I could trust. Sapnap's parents treat me and my siblings better than my asshole parents." Dream said.

"Sapnap is honestly a really good person." George said. "Just remember you are always welcome here okay? I'd love to help you and your siblings."

"Yeah I'm sure they'll love to meet you. My brother's name is Chris and my sister is called Chloe. I call her Drista though. Dream and sister. Drista." They both giggled. "Chris calls her Chloever (pronounced clover) as she brings good luck wherever she goes. I have an older sister too. Her name is Clara. She moved out a couple months ago." Dream said.

"BOYS! DINNER IS READY!" They heard George's mother call them from downstairs.

"COMING MUM! Let's go Dream." George said and got up. Dream followed. They both headed downstairs and towards the dining table. They took a seat next to each other.

"Hi Dream! I'm sorry I didn't know what your favourite dish was. I made lasagna for you. Hope you like it." George's mum said as she passed a plate to both boys.

"You don't have to be sorry Mrs. Davidson. I don't have a favourite dish. I do like lasagna though. Thank you." Dream said. They began eating, making small conversations in between and George's mum telling George's childhood stories. George was red from embarrassment.

When dinner was over George went to the sink to do the dishes while Dream sat on the couch waiting for him. He chatted with George's mum till George was back.

"George hasn't stopped talking about you since yesterday. I'm glad he's making new friends. The only true friend he has had is Karl eventhough he considers everyone as his friends. People mostly take advantage of him at school and once their work is done, they stab him in the back. You seem like a humble guy Dream. I trust you with my boy." George's mother said.

"I'm glad to be his friend too. I'll protect him from those who use him. Thank you for trusting me." Dream replied.

"I'm done with the dishes. What do you wanna do Dream?" George asked as he sat on the couch next to his mum.

"Actually I was thinking I should leave. It's pretty late already." Dream said.

"Okay. Text me once you're home. Be safe Dream." George said.

"I will, don't worry. See you at school tomorrow. Good night!" Dream said as he put on his shoes and walked out the door. He turned around to smile and wave at George who was standing at the door. He waved back.

Dream was on his way to Sapnap's house when a familiar car pulled up in front of him. He stopped walking and stared in confusion. Two familiar figures hopped out from the front seats. Dream froze when their faces came in sight. He saw his parents walking towards him.

"Hey Clay. I'm not very happy to see you out here you know? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!" His dad said. He looked angry. Angrier than ever. Dream knew something was coming up. And it wasn't good.

He knew he was in deep trouble.
