Yuta was vrooming. The male was on his motorcycle, speeding round and round the arena with his Ducati as he tried to see in the dark. He huffed. How dare the headmaster be suspicious of the players! He knew that it was one of them but Yuta had better things to do! He revved up the motorcycle, hearing the satisfying roar of the vehicle. His motorcycle was loud but it was meant to be loud. They were meant to be heard in the arena when he used his ultimate.
Na Yuta thought to himself that he could be with his girlfriend right now but holy shit, did the headmaster have to ruin that for him. The whole arena was dark and Yuta could hear a few "Locked!" and "Checked" from a few teammates.
The headlights of his motorcycle were off. He decided it was better that way. Besides, who would be stupid enough to step in front of his—
Yuta had taken a sharp U-Turn when there was a squeak. Na Jaemin had just stepped out of the bushes in a daze. He had finished checking the entrance across and the mage player looked straight at the vehicle just to notice it barreling towards him.
Yuta did not even register that Jaemin was there, the vehicle surging forward when suddenly there was a crash and Yuta felt himself catapult backwards. The motorcycle had stopped suddenly. Jaemin let out a gasp, Yuta rolling on the floor.
The Ducati.... His Ducati was folded in half, Yuta sitting up when he could feel a concussion coming.
"What?!" he roared. Everyone that heard of the commotion had walked over and Yuta's jaw dropped when he saw the state of his dear Suzy. "Who—Jeno!"
Lee Jeno thought that the motorcycle would slam against Jaemin. In his defense, his best friend's reaction time was slow in the dark so Jeno instinctively stopped the motorcycle. Yuta coughed from the sudden drop of temperature that was beginning to get hard to handle.
"You..." he cleared his throat. "Suzy! You broke Suzy!"
"Would have hit Jaemin," Jeno said simply, Yuta circling the motorcycle that would definitely need more than just a few repaired parts. Thank god, Suzy had insurance.
"What the fuck, dude?" Yuta snapped, studying the motorcycle. Nakamoto Yuta was a menace to those that pissed him off but Jeno didn't seem bothered. The younger male simply apologized and Yuta was about to wreak havoc when a hand reached for him and pulled him away.
Two hands, actually. Nabi and Jaehyun.
"What?" he snapped at the both of them. These two were two peas in a pod and Nabi must have told Jaehyun to stop Yuta from causing a scene. "My motorcycle is a Ducati—"
"It folded in half, Yuta," Nabi said softly, as if she was trying to remind him of the situation. Her eyes fell on the motorcycle and Yuta blinked. Right.... Who in the world could fold a motorcycle in half just by stopping it?
Fucking Edward Cullen shit.
"It could be the panels too, you know," Jaehyun said suddenly. "Jeno might have tried to stop it but don't forget that Kyungsoo might as well be watching us. He might have seen Jaemin and Yuta almost get hurt and raised the panel of the ground to stop the motorcycle. The impact would be enough to cause... whatever that is."
That was true, too. Nabi did not look convinced and Yuta did not give two shits.
"Whatever," he glowered at Jeno. "I'm not in the mood."
He had stalked away, both his friends studying Lee Jeno as he dusted a shaken Na Jaemin off.
