               Seven Minutes In Heaven

She was in the middle of a highschool party. She never thought she would go to one, but her friends got invited and she had nothing better to do.

She was currently aimlessly walking around until one of her friends invited her to play seven minutes in heaven. She nodded, knowing there was no point in trying to vocalize her decision due to the music, then followed her friend to a random room filled with others.

A couple more people came into the room, then they all got ready to play. They sat in a circle, and someone pulled out an empty bottle and explained how everything was going to work. They were too lazy to put names in a hat, so instead it would be "spin the bottle" style. Everyone knew the gist of the game, so they got started.

The energy in the air was very energetic as people were eager to get into the closet with someone. She sat tensely, waiting for the bottle to land on her, or for her own turn to spin. Luckily, it didn't land on her, but her turn eventually came.

She was incredibly anxious, hoping she wouldn't embarrass herself. She leaned forward and grabbed ahold of the bottle as many eyes were glued to her. She took a deep breath, then spun the bottle. It felt like time stopped as it continually spun. Eventually, it landed on him.

He was the most beautiful boy she had ever seen. She always liked him, so she prayed that this wouldn't go south. They both looked up at each other and smiled. He stood up, walked over to her, held his hand out, then said, "Shall we?" "We shall," she said as she took his hand and stood up. They both walked into the closet and she closed the door behind them.

"Hi," she said nervously. "Hi." "How's it going?" "Pretty good. I was kind of hoping that your spin would land on me." Her eyes went wide as she exclaimed, "What? Really?" "Yeah," he chuckled.

He got closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She laughed nervously and placed her arms around his neck. "Is this alright?" He whispered. She nodded, no longer trusting herself to speak. "Sweet," he said before kissing her.

They both lost track of time as they kissed, because all of the sudden, the closet door swung open and someone yelled, "Time's up!" They both jumped before letting go of each other. They walked out, briefly smiled at each other, then walked back to their spots.

The game continued on, but she couldn't bother caring. All she could think about was their kiss. Eventually, everyone got bored of the game, so the circle dispersed. Just as she was about to walk over to her friends, he came up to her.

They both grinned at each other, then he said, "Hey, I'd really like to take you out on a date sometime." "I'd really like that too." They exchanged phone numbers, then she got a random surge of confidence and kissed him again.

They pulled away and she saluted him before turning around and walking to her friends. She turned to look at him one last time, and when they made eye contact, they smiled and he saluted her before leaving the room. She chuckled as she turned to her friends, prepared to tell them everything.
