Synopsis:
In order to maintain balance, Children of the Forest were born. They were spirit children with the ability to travel freely to the spirit world and to the human realm. Each with their own element of air, water, earth and fire. They were one with their elemental animals and elements and travelled the spirit and human realm freely.
Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few who knew that this folklore was more than a mere legend but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her.
She was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was his first love.
