Two weeks later the twins birth we organized a photo shoot with the babies, Ellie and Alex that of course Charlotte is going to take. "Are you guys dressed?" I hear Charlotte saying from our bedroom "Yes!" They both exclaim and then I see them walking in the bedroom and I follow too. Once we are all ready Charlotte makes Alex sit on the bed and I gently place Lukas on his lap and position Alex hand to support his head then I put Kate on his other arm. Charlotte takes a few photos with Alex putting him in different points of the room. "Put your arms under your head and smile big" she says After leaning the babies on his arms she snaps a couple of pictures. "Ellie, take over darling" Again the process is repeated: a few photos while she is sitting, others when she is laying, or sitting on the big armchair and not on the bed. It takes Charlotte a little less the two hours and fortunately the twins didn't make a fuss.
"Perfect pictures!" "I love them, good job my beautiful photographer" I say kissing her gently on the lips "Change the babies as I fix a snack?" I nod and go in the twins room asking Ellie to help me. "Ok...wipes...bum cream...baby powder...and diaper" I say as she assists me. I then choose a new sleeper for Kate: a light pink one with purple clouds and I hand Kate to Ellie once I'm done. "I'll put her in the cot" "Thank you" I grab Lukas and start to take off his clothes first and then the dirty diper. We repeat everything and Ellie hands me a green sleeper with lions on it. Once they are both changed we pick them up and go downstairs, securing them in the baby swings as we eat a snack and start a movie.

After watching the movie Tom cooks a delicious dinner that we devour. "What do you guys want to do?" "Oh I'm going to sleep...it's pretty late, you guys should be going too tomorrow you got school and daddy and I need to go talk to your teachers" We all retrieve to our bedrooms and after feeding the twins I put them back down and join Tom. We read a bit and I actually manage to fall asleep but after a while I feel movement and turn to Tom side, seeing him getting up and then I hear a low cry. "Here you go princess, all good, daddy got you" I hear him say He sits back in bed and kisses her head gently as he strokes her cheek "See all better" He gently bounce her up and down and it's only a matter of five minutes before she falls back asleep...that's the last thing I remember of the night cause I follow my little girl in dreamland.
