Jaden pov
"Come on bro. It's one day. You haven't come out with if in ages." Ash groaned as he fell back onto my bed.
When I got back from the studio he was in here along with a couple other of my friends from home. I don't know how they got in, but that wasn't really bothering me because it's been so long since I saw them all.
"I literally just got back from the studio. I'm exhausted." Because you keep imagining Liza in all different positions moaning your name.
"Well suck it up. We're going out, and you are coming with. I don't care if I have to drag you out the house." Tucker threatened as I groaned.
"Where do you plan on going? The youngest out of all of you is literally a child. You can't really do much."
"I'm literally seventeen. Just cause you're an old man, doesn't mean you need to bitter." Jack joked as I rolled my eyes.
"We were just gonna go out to a restaurant or something." Sam finally answered.
"Where?" I asked.
"Crossroads. We wanna try your bosses food." Ash teased.
"First off, Travis isn't my boss as such more so a partner. But okay, I'd be down to go to Crossroads." I shrugged, grabbing my keys.
"See Tuck, you're so dramatic. It took so much convincing to get him to go." Skylar joked, walking back in from wherever she was. "Hey Jae."
"Hi Sky." I laughed as she hugged me loosely. "How's Winnie?" I asked, noticing she wasn't here.
"Winnie is annoyed at me because I told her I didn't want her mom to come to every one of our baby's scans. So she opted out of travelling in a plane with me for a few hours. But she promises to come and see you next time." She rolled her eyes as she pulled away from the hug.
"She's just being Winnie. Dramatic as fuck. But congratulations on getting pregnant."
"Okay. We get it. Are you two done with your mothers meeting? Or can we go now?" Jack whined making me roll my eyes.
"Come on you big baby, let's go."
******
"Ash, please don't get us kicked out of here." I groaned as I watched him balance a glass on his pointer finger.
"Aw, what's wrong Jae Jae? You scared your boss isn't going to like hearing about reeking havoc in his restaurant?" Sam fake pouted.
"Well that, but it's also just blatant respect for others. You can't get away with half the shit we'd get away with back home. There are cameras everywhere here." I warned.
"Yeah, come on guys. Don't wanna ruin the big rockstars reputation now do we?" Skylar fake teased as the waiter came over.
When he walked away, the bell rang, signalling someone had walked in. Out of pure curiosity, I looked up to see Finn walking in. I prayed in my mind that it was just them or that they were with someone else but half groaned when Liza walked in behind them.
Her eyes glanced in our table's general vicinity momentarily. I watched as they slowly moved towards and doubled back, looking over again before snapping back forwards. She's avoiding me?
I brought my attention back to the table as they made into a random conversation. I couldn't help but look over at her every now and then. She was wearing the same outfit she was wearing earlier and her hair was still slightly messed up.
"Ooh, she's cute." Skylar laughed as her eyes followed my direct line of view. "And so is he." I rolled my eyes at her comments.
"She is Liza Boeman, and they are her brother Finn." I explained.
"Those names mean nothing to me Jaden." She deadpanned.
"Hers would if you heard her music. She's the girl on my new song." I stated, dragging my eyes away from them, forcing Skylar to do the same so it wasn't obvious.
"Oh right. Have I heard any of her music?" She asked, eating some of her salad. By now the others had dived into a conversation of sport, and neither of us were all that interested in it.
"Possibly. She was the one that went global for No Time To Die. You know the new song for the new Bond film?" I tried, watching her eyes widen in realisation.
"Oh my god. She was the one that sang that song?" She gasped.
"Yes Sky." I laughed at her shock.
"Okay, but why do you keep looking over at her? Or is it them you're looking at?" I internally groaned at her suggestion. I really regret telling her I was bi.
"No it's not them. It's not really her either. Just curious." I dodged.
"I can smell that bullshit and I'm fucking nose blind Jaden Isaiah. Admit it so we can get this part over with." She rolled her eyes, dropping her fork onto her plate to stare into my soul intently.
I was going to answer but the sound of a glass smashing sent the whole restaurant into an awkward silence. I looked up to see Finn quickly apologise for knocking into the waitress, previously holding a glass. They quickly rushed out of the restaurant with Liza following behind. She quickly went back to the waitress and handed her a hundred dollar bill before rushing off again.
"Why are you still sat here?" Skylar whispered shouted to me.
"What are you talking about?" I mumbled.
"Go and see what's up. She is your friend of whatever. Right?" She prompted.
Without thinking twice, I quickly got up and walked towards the door. I made my way out and looked around quickly, seeing Liza and Finn stood a little away. Finn looked like they were trying to leave and Liza looked like she was begging them to stay.
"Finn, I'm sorry. It was an accident." Liza pleaded as she tried to hold onto her brothers arm.
"This is all your fucking fault Lizzie. I hate you." They spat, pulling their arm away from her and walking off.
She collapsed to her knees and let out a heart aching sob. I walked over and crouched down next to her, trying to softly gain her attention so I didn't startle her. Instead she startled me as she half turned around and flung her body into mine, gripping onto me for dear life.
