Liza pov

I am so grateful that my limping has gone down now.

Getting into the store was an absolute nightmare. The amount of paparazzi stood outside waiting were ridiculous. Not only did they bombard me with questions, I already knew that I was gonna be on tiktokroom, for the simple fact that they would have recognised Jaden's hoodie and his sweats I was wearing.

When I finally managed to get into the store, the man at the drugs counter told me they could take you to forty five minutes to get my prescription ready. So I decided I was just going to wander around the shop until it was ready.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Some guy laughed as he bumped into me.

"Are you fucking stalking me or something?" I asked, turning around to see Josh stood with another guy.

"Uh, no? You're hot, but I'm not a stalker." He laughed, sending his friend away.

"Really? Why were you at the exact same dress shop me and my boyfriend were at? At the exact same time?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"I'm not going to lie, I thought you were alone. I was going to come in and ask you if you wanted to go to dinner on the weekend. I thought the only reason you were saying no was because your boyfriend was actually with you." He shrugged off.

"I said no because I didn't want to go. Wether Jaden was there or not, I still would have said no." I reiterated, wanting to walk away now.

"We both know that there's something between us. I can feel it. I know you can feel it too Lizzie, just allow yourself to feel what I feel." He tried, grabbing my hands.

"My name, is Liza. And I don't feel anything towards you. The only man I have feelings for is my boyfriend, who I love. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go pick something up and then I'm leaving. If I ever find you near me again, I promise I will make your life a living hell." I threatened, snatching my hands away from his.

"You'll see it one day Liza. I promise you." He shouted to me as I walked away in a hurry.

I made quick work of grabbing my prescription from the desk and making my ways to the doors. I nearly groaned as I saw all the paparazzi outside, I knew there was no way I was going to be able to avoid them.

"What the actual fuck dude? Get off me." I protested as he came out of no where and wrapped his arms around me.

"I told you. One day, you'll feel the same way I do. We'll be able to be together with no one stopping us. I just need you to see it beautiful." He whispered, squeezing my waist tight before letting me go and walking away.

"Liza."

"Liza?"

"Liza over here."

"Liza can we have a minute of your time."

My head was slowly starting to spin from all the questions. I just wanted to go back to Jaden and sleep again, but there was one question that made my stomach drop.

"Who was that you just hugged?"

"Hey, where have you be-"

"Have you looked at tiktokroom today?" I asked, cutting him off.

"Uh, no? Why?" He asked, pulling his phone out and looking up the account.

"No don't." I rushed, trying to stop him.

"Why? What's on there Eliza? Last time you acted like this, my dick was plastered all over it for everyone to see." He asked, looking at me instead of his phone.

"Just- you can look, but I can explain. I didn't want him to do it, he just came at me randomly. I tried to push him off, but they already took the picture." I sighed, knowing there was no way around it.

"Okay?" The look on his face made me really confused.

I watched as his eyes looked down at the picture of me very clearly hugging Josh. I knew it was there because we spent twenty minutes sitting in his driveway staring at it, dreading walking in here in case he had already seen it. Why isn't he getting angry?

"What reaction were you expecting out of me Lizzie? I can very clearly see you are uncomfortable in the picture. Did you expect I was going to scream down the fucking house at you?" He asked, putting his phone in his pockets.

"Well, kinda yeah." I mumbled putting my bag on the side of the counter and sitting down at the island.

"Why? Do I really make you feel like that? Like you have to explain everything to me and stressing yourself out trying to find the right explanation?" He asked, a look of genuine hurt flashing over his eyes.

"No. It's just a force of habit. Not every guy I have dated has been like you. There were a few of them who'd do a lot worse than scream the place down. It's just like second nature at this point." I shrugged, placing my head down on the island, the tiredness of the morning finally taking over me.

"Fuck." I heard him mumble under his breath. "You don't need to worry about all of that with me. I don't want you to stress over giving me an explanation. Not everything you do in your life needs to be run by me. If you wanna give me an explanation then by all means, give me one. But I'm not expecting one every time." He explained, walking up and standing behind me, rubbing my shoulders.

"Mhm." I half agreed, feeling really tired.

"You should go back to bed baby. You're still really tired." He pointed out, making me nod my head.

I agreed with him but I couldn't find the energy to move. I think he realised that because he turned the stool I was sat on, making sure he held my head so it didn't just fall off the counter. He bent down and grabbed my thighs, hoisting me up and holding me around him, carrying me up the stairs and laying down in the bed with me.

"Night baby." He whispered, kissing my head and running his hand through my hair while I fell asleep on his chest.
