Waking up wasn't my issue. It's getting out of the bed that was the problem presented.

Jaden was half laying on me and half not. His arm was across my whole body, his head was laying directly on my hip bone, I don't even know how that's comfortable, and he has my left leg trapped between his legs. I knew he was going to be dehydrated and possibly hungry when he woke up, so I was going to try and get out of the bed so I could make him something for when he woke up.

After about ten minutes of trying not to wake him up, I had finally managed to free myself from his grasp. Almost immediately he cuddled up into the pillow and let out a little shiver due to his back being completely exposed with no source of warmth anymore. I quickly pulled the covers up on him a little more before leaving the room to go downstairs.

"Hello Juice. Hi baby." I laughed as I walked into the kitchen and got bombarded by my boyfriends horse for a dog.

I walked over to the doors that lead into the backyard, opening them for him so he could run around. I laughed as I watched him sprint around trying to chase a butterfly that had landed nearby. My laughing was quickly interrupted when I heard a crash coming from upstairs, followed by some groaning.

I quickly made my way up to Jaden's room again to see what he had done. Turns out he tried to get up and couldn't support himself so his legs buckled, causing him to fall. He also managed to knock over a speaker as well.

"What the fuck?" He mumbled, sitting up and holding his head.

"Are you okay?" I asked, walking over and examining his head, making sure it was just a headache from last night and he hadn't hit it.

"Liza? Why are you here? I thought you were coming tonight." He groaned again, burying his head between his knees. He doesn't remember.

"How much do you remember from last night?" I asked. I need to know if he still remembers what happened to his friend. Otherwise I'm gonna have to tell him.

"Uh, we'll I remember coming home from the studio. I was on the phone to my mom and then everything kind of blurs together." He answered, rubbing his eyes and wincing.

"Excellent." I mumbled sarcastically.

"Why what happened?" He asked, seeing my I'll mannered response to his answer.

"I'll tell you in a bit. First we need to get some food and water in you. Come on." I held my hands out to help him stand up.

The first few steps he took was a little bit wobbly, but after that he seemed to manage quite nicely. I still held his arm over my shoulder just in case he fell over again. He seemed pretty okay walking down the stairs, so I trusted him when he said he could walk properly.

He walked himself over to the island and sat down at it. I placed in front of him a glass of cold water and a slice of plain toast. He didn't see it though because his head was resting on his arms which were on the island.

"Can you pass me some paracetamol?" He asked in a tired voice as he slowly sat up properly and drank the water.

"No." I shrugged, making him squint at me. I'm not risking that.

"Fine then. I'll get it myself I guess." He mumbled, putting the glass down and going to stand up.

"Jaden, there's a reason I said no. I'm not a bitch. You'll understand in a minute." I stated, stopping him from standing up.

"What's going on?" He groaned, sitting back down.

"Look- just eat some toast and then I'll explain. But you're taking any of those pills until you've eaten something and drank a little more at least." I explained. He was confused, but complied anyway.

"Right, now can you tell me what's going on?" He asked.

"Okay." I nodded, sitting up on the counter. "So, last night, you called me at like two in the morning, crying. I got in my car and drove over here and found you upstairs. You were awake, but very, very drugged up. From what you told me, your friend had overdosed again and had been admitted into the hospital." I told him.

I watched as his breathing became more shallow with my words. He fell silent for a few minutes just thinking over what I said.

"Is that why you aren't letting me have any pain meds? And why I woke up this morning feeling like absolute shit?" He asked, his voice faltering slightly.

"Yes. You had taken about six or seven pills and I made you throw them up, but some had already started to take affect. I don't want to risk you still overdosing with any other pills." I answered making him nod.

"A-and my friend?" He asked, his bottom lip trembling.

"Uhm, no news yet. I stayed up most of the night, mostly to make sure you were okay, but there was no phone call yet. But hopefully soon." I reluctantly told him.

I watched as his eye twitched slightly before they glistened over. It wasn't long before the tears slowly started rolling down his face. He kept biting his bottom lip so he didn't make a sound.

"Oh Jae." I sighed, standing up and walking over to him.

I turned the seat he was sat in and stood between his open legs. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my chin on his head. He quickly wrapped his arms around me and buried his head into my chest as he started to sob. I ran my hand up and down his back as I felt his hot tears run down my skin.

"I'm so sorry baby." I whispered to him as I left kisses on his head over and over again.
