Liza pov
"Fuck, that's so hot." He groaned as I walked out and showed him one of the many dresses he had picked out.
It's been a couple days since the incident with his friend. After his breakdown in the kitchen we both fell asleep, cuddling on the sofa while waiting for a text or phone call. Luckily they managed to save his friend and he's going to go back into rehab to get proper help.
Now we're out dress and tux shopping because Travis and Kourtney's wedding is in two days. He decided he wanted to pick out my dress and then we'd go and find him a matching tux. We also had planned a little surprise for after the wedding that no one else knows about.
"Keep it in your pants Hossler. We've got the entire day booked." I warned, turning around so he can see my dress from behind.
"You better be careful Boeman. You keep your ass in my face looking like that and I'll have you bent over in the dressing room." He warned back, cocking an eyebrow at me challengingly.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes, walking back in to the changing room so I can change the dress.
I had a horrible feeling that he was going to choose this one for me to wear. Don't get me wrong, the dress is absolutely gorgeous, and anyone would look drop dead stunning in it, but I'm scared things are going to be too on show for me.
"Fucking hell Lizzie." He gawked as I walked out, showing him the dress. My head cocked to the side as I tried to figure out if it was a good or bad reaction.
"You like?" I stifled a laugh as his eyes scanned over my body.
"I'm gonna need you to wear this in bed every night. And never take it off." He replied as he adjusted his position in the seat.
"This one?" I asked watching him nod vigorously.
"Definitely this one." He answered.
"Okay." I laughed, walking back in to the changing rooms to change into my clothes.
I walked back out and out all the dresses we didn't want on the clothing rack. I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched for some reason. We walked over to the register and waited to pay.
"Put your fucking card away." He mumbled, swatting my hand away from the card reader.
"Absolutely not Jaden. This dress is over two hundred dollars. I'm not letting you pay that for me." I argued, removing his card before his pin was put in.
"Liza, you're not gonna win this. Just let me lay for it. You're my girlfriend, so I should be able to treat you. You want an expensive dress, I'll buy you an expensive dress." He shrugged, putting his card back in the reader and placing his body between me and the machine.
"Thank you sir. Here's your receipt. Have a nice day." The cashier smiled at him as she handed him the dress in a bag and the receipt for it.
"Thanks." He smiled at me smugly before walking away.
I groaned under my breath and started to follow him. I had nearly got to him when someone stood in my way. They were a little taller than me, so all I could see was their shoulders. I had yet to look up.
"Excuse me." I said, stepping back a little bit before trying to go around, only to have them move in my way. "Dude, move." I said, more annoyed when I looked up. Fucking seriously.
"Hi Liza." He smiled down at me.
"Yeah, hi. Look can you move? I need to get to my boyfriend." I rushed, still trying to get around him.
"I was just wondering if you were free to go out this weekend. I kinda wanna get to know you a little more." He shrugged, stepping back a little and stuffing his hands in his pockets.
"No. I'm not free. First off because I have shit going on. And second, I have a boyfriend. I don't need to be getting to know other men." I answered trying to push past him.
"I'm not trying to get you to be mine. I just wanna make some friends. You seem nice, and you're pretty, so I just wanna be friends." He tried.
"Everything alright? I thought you were right behind me." Jaden asked when he finally came back after realising I was held up.
"I was. But I just accidentally bumped into this guy." I answered as he wrapped an arm around me.
"So, this weekend?" Oh for fuck sake.
"I told you no. Just accept that and leave me alone. Please." I answered, finally being able to push past him.
I could tell he didn't want to resist me with Jaden hanging off me. He's significantly taller than Josh and is clearly stronger. You can also tell he has more muscle mass just by definition. He was also glaring through Josh's soul.
"What was all that about?" He asked when we got outside of the store. "I recognise that guy." He stated, a lot of anger seeming to be behind it.
"He's just some guy I bumped into a few weeks ago. Apparently he's new here or something. I don't know, I was more preoccupied with getting to you. Anyway, I told him how to get somewhere and then we went our separate ways. Then he turned up with the guy who changed my locks a couple days ago, apparently he was an apprentice or something." I explained.
"He seems to really wanna get to know you." He laughed, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and walking down the street.
"You don't care?" I asked.
"Nah. I saw your reaction. I know I don't have to worry about you getting with him. I don't see him as a competition." He answered.
We continued to walk down the street and to the tux shop. He seemed to have seen something straight away that caught his eye, so I just let him wander around the store. He also tried on a bunch of different ones before picking one he was finally happy with.
I made sure I kept him distracted for long enough so that I could swipe my card in the reader to pay. By the time he had clocked on to what I was doing, the tux was already paid for, and I was holding the suit bag with a receipt.
"You're a sneaky one Miss Boeman." He laughed, taking the suit bag from me.
"Just trying to keep up with you Hossler." I shot back.
