-leaving tonight, the neighbourhood
"I DONT KNOW. HE LOOKS PRETTY NORMAL TO ME." Lila came to the conclusion after viewing Billy through a pair of binoculars. They were currently behind someone's car which was parked at the Hawkins Community Pool.
"Normal? How many times have you seen him with a shirt on?" Lucas disagreed.
Max tilted her head, "I mean, it's a little weird."
"More than a little." Mike glanced between the two step-sisters, "He was in a tub with ice. The mind flayer likes it cold. Plus everything else-"
Lila cut him off, "But he's lounging at the pool which is like, the least Mind Flayer thing ever."
"Not necessarily." Will said, "The Mind Flayer likes to hide. He only used me when he needed me. It's like-- it's like you're dormant. And then, when he needs you," He looked towards the lifeguard that was sitting at the pool, "you're activated."
"Okay, so we just wait until he gets activated." Max concluded.
Mike shook his head, "No. What if he hurts someone? Or kills someone? We can't take that chance. We need to find out if he's the host."
Lila felt her mouth going dry. She knew he was a host, but not the only host. She had to do something about it, but she didn't know what. Mike pushed himself off the car, and swiftly walked around it.
El frowned, "Where are you going?"
The boy answered while walking backwards in between two cars, "I have an idea, boys only!"
"Seriously?"
"Just trust me on this one!" He shouted, while the other two boys followed him.
They couldn't do anything about that, so they had no options but to trust him on that one. While they didn't necessarily want to, it was vital for the plan. Both plans. One of which would be explained to Lila.
As they left, she the Hargrove girl couldn't help but feel as if the rest of the party, minus Will, were withholding something from her.
Mike pulled open the door to the men's changing room, Will and Lucas following him inside.
"Okay, so we wait until the pool closes, until everyone leaves, and we somehow get him from here and..." They manoeuvred their way from the entrance to the gym room. "get him into here." He pointed to the sauna room.
When he opened it, he didn't know what to expect, other than five men. "Hey, shut the door!"
