Ch 8

They both walk downstairs

Tony: "alex are you okay?"

Thor: "how do you feel lady alex?"

Everyone talks over each other and it starts to overwhelm alex

Alex: "s-stop please stop!"

Carol walks over and hold alex's hand

Nat: "okay everyone stop you are all overwhelming her"

Alex: "thanks Tasha"

Wanda: "let her be and stop asking questions"

Carol: "come on i'll make you something else to eat... what do you want?"

Alex: "grilled cheese"

Carol: "okay"

A couple days later

Alex: "i'm going to meet a friend in a couple of hours"

Wanda: "who are you meeting?"

Alex: "one of my old friends from high-school"

Wanda: "thats nice"

Nat: "what are you both going to do?"

Alex: "grab lunch somewhere and hang out for a bit. Nothing much"

Nat: "have fun with your friend"

A couple hours pass and alex is about to leave to meet her friend

Carol: "hey where are you going?"

Alex: "i'm going to meet a friend. We are going to grab some food and hang out"

Carol: "cool have fun"

Alex's phone buzzes. She looks down at her phone

Carol: "what happened?"

alex: "Great, my friend canceled on me"

Carol: "what"

Alex: "thats nice"

She sighs

Alex: "guess i'll go back to my  room"

Carol: "hey why don't we hang out instead. It will be better instead of wasting your day off on spending time in your room"

Alex: "are you sure carol?"

Carol: "Yeah, it will be fun. Besides i need a break"

Alex: "okay then"

Carol: "lets take my car"

They get into carol's car

Carol: "random question but why is it that whenever you go somewhere with natasha you always drive"

Alex: "because she almost crashed one time so i dont trust her"

Carol: "WHAT!"

Alex; "yup"

Carol: "I'm being honest and dont tell natasha i said this but sometimes she is crazy"

Alex: "yes sometimes she is very crazy at times"

They both laugh

Carol: "so what do you want to do?"

Alex: "I'm fine with whatever"

Carol: "food and maybe the music store or something"

Alex: "sounds good to me"

Later on

Alex: "thanks for spending the day with me after my friend canceled"

Carol: "It was no problem. It was really fun"

A couple weeks pass

Wanda and alex are hanging out

Wanda: "what are you thinking about?"

Alex: "nothing why"

Wanda: "because i think a certain someone is thinking about a certain captain"

Alex: "what no. i'm not thinking about carol!"

Wanda: "mhm what if we look into your mind"

Alex: "what no! Wanda don't you dare!"

Wanda goes into alex's mind and sees carol. She gets out of alex's mind and smirks

Alex: "wanda what the hell!"

Wanda: "i knew it!"

Alex: "Wanda shut up. Don't you dare tell her!!"

Wanda: "i wont i wont my lips sealed"

With natasha and carol in the kitchen. They are making lunch for the team and talking.

Nat: "so what is up with you and alex?"

Carol stops what she was doing and looks up at Natasha

Carol: "what do you mean?"

Nat: "it's so obvious you like Alex"

Carol: "what no that is not true at all!"

Natasha looks at carol

Nat: "keep on denying it but it's the truth"

Carol: "I don't like alex!"

Nat: "Carol, I'm a spy. I'm the best person on the team who can lie and make it seem truthful so i know when someone is lying"

Tony walks into the room

Tony: "we are having a party tonight so you all know"

Nat: "tonight?"

Tony: "yup. Be ready by 7"

Carol: "great another party"

Alex:"seriously what is with billionaires having  parties every week"
