Carol and alex are asleep and lizzie is awake. She walks into carol and Alex's bedroom
Lizzie: "mommy"
Alex wakes up
Alex: "yes lizzie"
Lizzie: "I'm hungry. Can we have breakfast?"
Alex: "tell momma"
Carol: "you did not just tell her to wake me up for food"
Alex: "too bad i have work soon"
Carol; "alright then let's go get some food"
Carol gets up and they both walk down to the kitchen
Carol: "what do you want to eat lizzie?"
Lizzie: " hmm. Can I have a bagel please"
Carol: "okay then"
She make a bagel for lizzie. Alex walks out of the elevator
Alex: "hey i have to get to work now"
Carol; "alright by love"
She kisses alex
Alex: "bye lizzie"
She kisses the top of lizzie's head
Lizzie: "bye mommy"
Hours later when Alex gets back from work
Carol: "lizzie where are you?"
Lizzie: "im in here momma"
Lizzie was in peter's room playing with him
Carol: "come on mommy and i have a surprise for you"
Lizzie: "yay"
Alex: "So lizzie momma and I finally adopted you. Meaning you're now officially our daughter and we are you mommys"
Lizzie: "really"
Carol and Alex nod
Lizzie: "I love you both so much"
Carol: "we love you too"
Alex: come on lets get some ice cream to celebrate
Lizzie: "yay"
At night
Carol: "finally we got her to bed"
Alex laughs
Alex: "she is just like you. Stubborn"
Carol: "i am not stubborn"
Alex glares at her
Carol: "okay maybe a little"
Alex: "maybe a little more than. Wait no you are really stubborn"
Carol: "god i hate you so much sometimes"
They both laugh
Carol: "want something to drink?"
Alex; "you never drink"
Carol: "well one I'm exhausted and besides its our anniversary"
Alex: "Oh my god thats right. We were so busy it slipped my mind please don't be mad at me"
Carol pours a drink
Carol: "don't worry love it slipped my mind as well"
She sits back down on the bed and kisses alex
Carol: "happy anniversary love"
Alex: "happy anniversary babe"
Carol: "at least there was a good reason for forgetting our anniversary"
Alex: "now it's our anniversary and our anniversary of adopting lizzie"
They watch a movie together
Alex: "i think we should head to bed now... what do you say... captain"
Carol chokes on her drink
Carol: "Captain?!?"
Alex smiles
Carol: "since when did you call me captain"
Alex: "since now"
Carol: "why though?"
Alex: "isn't it your title.. Captain"
Carol: "love its different when it comes from you. I go by captain marvel for work"
Alex: "i know, i know. im just messing with you"
She kisses carol
