A couple more hours pass
Alex: "I'm going to head out. Thank you for inviting me pepper"
Pepper: "i will see you on Monday"
Nat: "want me to drive you home?"
Alex: "sure"
Once they arrive at Alex's home
Nat: "bye see you soon"
Alex: "by Tasha thanks. See you soon"
Alex walks into the house
Alex: "hey mom I'm home"
Maria: "hey hunny how was the party?"
Alex: "it was good. We had a lot of good laughs. Has anything come for me yet?"
Maria: "no. you are still waiting to see if you got that house?"
Alex: "yeah. It was my dream home. Besides, I don't want to lean on your shoulder for everything"
Maria: "well you are my baby girl nothing is a bother"
Alex: "I know mom but I really should move out soon. I'm going to head to bed. Night mom"
Maria: "good night Alex"
The next morning
Alex: "good morning mom"
Maria: "good morning Alex. What are you doing today?"
Alex: "I'm not sure probably hang out with Tasha. What about you mom?"
Maria: "I have to head to headquarters so I'll be home late today"
Alex: "oh okay. Do you want to hang out tomorrow if you're not busy?"
Maria: "Sure. What do you have in mind?"
Alex: "what about going to the lake. Like we did when i was little"
Maria: "sounds good"
Alex: "Are you going on any missions today?"
Maria: "I don't think so. Probably just helping fury around headquarters.I have to head out now. Bye love you"
Alex: "bye mom love you too"
Maria leaves and Alex goes on her phone
She texts Natasha
Alex: "heyy want to come by"
Nat: "sure sounds good i'll be there in 10"
Alex: "okay bye see you then"
10 minutes later
Nat: "I'm here"
Alex screams
Alex: "jeez Tasha you scared the hell out of me!"
Nat: "Well you gave me a house key and what did you expect. For me to knock or ring the doorbell. So what do you want to do?"
Alex: "at least give me a heads up next time. I could have drawn a gun out. I live with one of the highest-ranking shield agents. I never know what to expect. Anyways i was thinking we could go the fair what do you think"
Nat: "sounds good"
Alex: "I'm driving"
Nat: "oh come on i want to"
Alex: "no last time you drove we almost crashed so im driving"
Nat: "fine"
