Ch 22

Later that night

Carol: "hey do you want to head up stairs? you look a bit tired"

carol puts some of alex's hair behind her ear

Alex: "yeah i do"

Carol: "come on i'll carry you up"

Carol carries alex to the elevator and into her bedroom

They both change and get into bed

Carol: "i love you"

Alex: "i love you to and i'm sorry"

Carol: "don't apologise any more love... we sorted out the issue"

Alex: "okay... i dont really feel tired anymore"

Carol: "you don't?"

Alex shakes her head and Carol sits up

Carol: "okay then"

The following morning

Carol wakes up before alex does. She looks over to alex and thinks to herself

Carol: "I don't deserve to love.... I really don't"

A few moments later alex wakes up

Carol: "morning love how did you sleep?"

Alex: "i slept well"

They sit up. Carol kisses alex. All of a sudden something appears through the wall

??: "ms davers mr stark is requesting you in his office"

Alex: "what the heck is that?!?"

Carol: "vision what the fuck! There is a thing called a door and a thing called knocking. And also a thing called privacy!"

Vision looks at alex and carol

Vision: "i apologize for disturbing you both"

Carol: "please knock before you come in. seriously i want to have privacy in my own room"

Vision: "once again i apologise I shall leave now"

He leaves

Alex: "what the hell was that"

Carol: "tony made this synthesoid thing. Hes been working on it for a while and barely finished it a couple days ago while you were gone"

Alex: "when did you find out about it?"

Carol: "a couple days ago"

Alex: "Seriously, something that smart would think of knocking or using the door... what if we were doing something"

Carol: "i would blast that thing with my powers until the memory drive is destroyed and can't be fixed"

Alex laughs and Carol kisses alex

Carol: "I'm happy to have you back love"

Alex: "so am i..."

Carol holds alex in a tight hug

Alex: "we should head downstairs"

Carol: "no i don't want to"

Alex: "come on we don't need tony yelling at us"

Carol: "fine"

They both get up and get ready

Alex in the bathroom washing her face, Carol walks over and hugs her from behind

Alex: "what are you doing?"

Carol kisses Alex's cheek

Then kisses her neck

Alex: "babe stop"

Carol doesn't listen

Alex: babe stop we have to go downstairs

Carol continues

Alex: "babe stop seriously... carol danvers stop"

Carol: "fine..."

Carol turns alex around and kisses her

Carol: "love you"

Alex: "i love you too"

They both walk downstairs

Carol: "What's up? Why did you need me?"

Tony: "we are all going on a mission and we need you to keep watch on the security feed at the building since you are still recovering"

Carol: "is that all"

Tony: "for now yes"

Carol: "Alright then. Also tony can you please talk to vision about knocking and privacy"

Tony: "why?"

Carol: "he phased through the wall of my room without a notice"

Tony: "will do"

Carol: "thank you"
