Alex wakes up and bolts out of bed. The lights turn on in the room
Carol wakes up
(in a sleepy voice)
Carol: "Alex love... What's wrong?"
Alex paces around the room
Carol: "Alex..."
Carol: "Alex are you alright?"
She gets out of bed
Carol: "Alex love what's wrong?"
She walks up behind Alex and wraps around Alex
Carol: "love you can talk to me, what happened?"
Alex: "n-nothing I just had a nightmare that's all"
Carol: "want to talk about it?"
Alex shakes her head
Alex: "I can't, i don't want to"
Carol turns Alex around so she is now facing carol
Carol: "when you are ready and want to talk about it, I'll be there"
She kisses Alex
Alex: "Thanks, babe..."
Carol: "i love you"
Alex: "I love you too"
Carol: "come on let's get some sleep since we have to get up early"
Alex: "why again?"
Carol: "we are going to visit my friend maria in Louisiana remember"
Alex: "Oh right, that's tomorrow"
Carol: "you forgot didn't you"
Alex digs her face into her hands and nods
She mumbles
Alex: "I'm sorry babe"
Carol takes Alex's hands into hers
Carol: "Hey it's alright you've been very busy and stressed these past couple of days. You haven't gotten much sleep"
Alex: "what that's not true"
Carol: "Alex"
Alex: "yeah you are right"
Carol pulls Alex close and kisses her forehead
Carol: "come on"
They get back into bed
Carol: "F.R.I.D.A.Y. can you turn the lights off please"
The lights turn off
Alex curls up against carol digger her face into carol's chest
Carol: "Alex love if you need anything wake me up okay"
Alex:" mhm"
Carol kisses the top of Alex's head
The next morning
Carol: "love, wake up"
She kisses Alex's cheek
Alex rubs her eyes
Alex: "what time is it?"
Carol: "5. We are leaving at 7 but we need to get ready, prep the quinjet, and get Lizzie ready. Come on"
Alex gets up
30 minutes later
Alex: "babe does this look fine?"
