Ch 15

The following day

sam wanda and carol were training in the gym

Alex decided to train with them since there was nothing else to do. Maria trained alex since she was younger so she was able to keep up with them. About an hour into training, sam started joking around

Sam: "look at these muscles i bet i can take anyone out"

Alex: "in your dreams pigeon boy"

Everyone laughs

Sam: "what did you say!?!"

Alex: "in your dream pigeon boy"

Sam: "oh it's on. Let's fight. Whoever wins makes the other person do a punishment"

Alex: "well you just signed yourself up for failure"

Sam and alex start to fight

Wanda: "should we stop them?"

Carol: "nah they will tire each other out in a half hour"

Everyone laughs

Steve: "30 bucks on Sam"

Nat: "nah, alex is going to win"

Steve: "100 bucks for the winner"

Nat: "deal"

They both laugh

20 minutes later

Sam was chasing alex

Sam: "get ready to lose"

Alex: "mhm yeah no"

Alex runs towards a wall,

As sam gets closer She jumps and pushes off the wall landing behind him. She kicks sam to the floor and pins him on the floor in a headlock

Alex: "give up!"

Sam: "no way!"

Alex: "give up!"

She tightens the grip around sam

Sam: "okay! okay you win!"

Alex lets go of sam and gets up. She walks over to the bench and picks up her water bottle

Carol: "see sam i told you she's a lot stronger than she looks"

Nat: "I think you owe me something"

Steve pulls out his wallet and hands Natasha 100 bucks

Wanda: "were you even trying to win?"

Sam: "yes I was. In fact i let her win"

Alex grabs a small throwing dagger she had in her bag and throws it at sam's face. Red mist stops the dagger which was about an inch from sam's face. The dagger then falls to the floor with a clink

Wanda: "no throwing knives at teammates/friends"

Alex: "It wasn't a knife, it was a dagger. A mini throwing dagger to be exact"

Wanda: "still!"

Carol: "Okay I think we are done with training for today. We don't need anyone getting hurt or killed"

Wanda: "agreed. also why do you even have that in your bag?!?"

Alex: "because I'm always prepared for anything. Since I was younger my mom always made sure I was prepared for an emergency. Never leave the house without some sort of protection"

Sam: "how how are you so good"

Alex: "well my mom is the best agent in shield. I grew up learning self defense and different fighting techniques"

Sam: "and you chose an office job"

Everyone laughs

Skip to a month later on the night of the gala

Carol: "you look wonderful love"

Alex: "so do you"

Carol: "really. you think this outfit is okay?"

Alex: "It looks more than okay. It looks wonderful on you"

Carol: "thanks love"

She kisses Alex

A week later

Carol: "bye love have a good day at work"

She kisses alex

Alex: "bye see you when i get back"

Alex leaves to work

Nat: "carol we have a mission"

Carol: "now? okay"

During the mission

Tony: "does anyone have eyes on the target?"

Sam: "they are heading to the south of the building"

Carol: "on it"

She lands in front of the target

Carol: "i suggest you give up because if not this wont go well for you"

??: "I think you're the one who is mistaken. This won't end well for you"

Carol fights the target but then she feels pain coming from her stomach.

Carol looks down, Blue was seeping through her suit

Carol: "sh*t"

She gets hit to the ground

Carol: "G-guys slight i-issue. Nothing t-to bad. ive got s-s"

She passes out

Nat: "carol, carol. Guys"

Steve: "does anyone have eyes on carol"

Clint: "i see her shes on the ground. shes bleeding"

Thor: "where is she?"

Clint: "south side"

thor flys over to carol

Thor: "i am requesting back up"

Steve: "coming"

Bucky: "coming"

Sam: "coming"

They continue to fight

Sam: "bucky get carol out of here"

Bucky: "on it"

He picks up carol and gets her to the quinjet

Bucky: "guys she's losing blood i wrapped her stomach in bandages. That's the best i can do with the supplies i have"

Rhodey: "what do we do?"

Tony: "Romanoff gets to the quinjet and help bucky"

Nat: "i'm on it"

She gets to the quinjet

Nat: "The wound is worse than I thought. We need to get her to the hospital"

Tony: "then get her to the hospital i'll have F.R.I.D.A.Y send another quinjet"

Bucky: "can you fly it"

Nat: "yes i can"

They get her to the hospital
